My Name is Calvin and I am a Cardigan Welsh Corgi born at Coedwig Cardigans in Portland, Oregon. Now I am climbing mountains in Colorado with my mom who has had me since I was 10 and a half weeks old! --------------------------------------------------------------- THAT IS A CARDIGAN WHAT KIND OF CORGI?! “Is that an Aussie/Corgi mix?” “I didn’t know welsh Corgis could be blue merle and have blue eyes!” “LOOK that corgi has a TAIL!” Just a few of the comments I hear every day when I am a demo dog at work with my mom! I am not a mixed breed, I am not a Pembroke, I am a Cardigan Welsh Corgi! Very different from a Pembroke (the Queen’s corgis) in soooooooo many ways. I am here to WORK where my brother, Elliott the Pembroke, was always here to PARTY. I have big round ears, they have pointed ones. I am larger and heavier and my front legs have a slight angle where they are smaller, lighters, and their front legs come down straight! I can come in this pretty blue merle color, PEMBROKES CAN NOT ... if they are blue merle that means they are a Pembroke / Cardigan mix!
