We received a call around 8pm tonight about this dog on a gravel road in Calhoun County. Why there were zip ties pressing against her neck holding a broken collar together is beyond us.

Please help get this beautiful boy back home. Owner is devastated that he is missing. He has been known to travel as far as Tri-county lake road.

UPDATE:
Bailey remains in the hospital and is doing well.
We have learned that the cause of her injury was from being shot. While having surgery the bullet was found and removed. This happened in a neighborhood in Fordyce Arkansas with a rifle. Lucky for Bailey you are a bad shot and didn’t k*ll her.
To whomever shot her we want you to know you are a coward. You shot this innocent dog leaving her to suffer in pain. She was out there trying to survive on the streets because she had been let down by her owner.
After all she has been through she has not lost her kindness to humans. She is one of the sweetest girls ever.

Roaming the streets of Fordyce looking for food. All 3 of these babies have respiratory infections and will start medication today.

This girl is the happiest, and sweetest gal ever. She is gaining weight, had wormer, and vaccinations. She will never have to worry about searching the streets for food ever again.

It’s always fun to be had when Tait, and Andry are at MMAR. All of the dogs get excited when they see them pulling in the driveway. Tons of love, care, and walks. We appreciate Tait, and Andry more than words can say.

Hey all it’s me Paula:
Words can never say how much I appreciate everyone pulling together allowing me to stay home with Larry 24/7 for his last 6 weeks on this earth.
I have to admit I feel completely lost and empty since he left this world.
I am so grateful for all the prayers, help, and donations made in Larry’s name for MMAR. He was a huge inspiration to me when it came to rescuing animals. Everyone wonders where we got the name Morning Meadow Animal Rescue. Larry named MMAR when it was born.
I will be returning back to MMAR on Monday. I had planned on returning last Monday but on my drive the funeral home called. I took Larry back to MMAR for the last time before bringing him home. Larry had two favorite places to be. One being at MMAR, while the other one was being home with his Willie Wayne.
He loved Pickle and Pickle loved him. Pickle is confused about coming to our home now and not seeing Larry in his recliner.
Again I want to say Thank You all for being there for me through this difficult time in my life.
I am looking forward to getting back to rescue a place I was born to be.

Bailey remains in hospital and will be returning to MMAR next week. Here are before and after pictures for all to see how well she is doing. We will not know her balance due until we pick her up. Help us welcome these little ladies to MMAR. They are 7-7.5 weeks old doing all they could do to survive while roaming the streets of Fordyce, full of worms, skinny, and hungry.
They have began vaccinations, wormer, food, and fresh water.

Update on Bailey:

Dr. Hodges got a lot of the wound closed, but still some places are open a bit, others a bit tighter than he likes. She has 2 drains in to keep infection draining. IV antibiotics as well. There is a slight possibility that the sutures could tear out where it is tight. Because of that and the drains, she will stay at Hillcrest. She will be evaluated on Tuesday. They are hopeful the drains can be removed and all the sutures are holding. If that is the case, then she will be released on Tuesday. All went well considering the size of the wound and the damage done.
We will post update pictures when we receive them.
She has raised 750.00 towards her surgery. We need all the help we can get for sweet Bailey.
We are unsure of total needed but will post once we know along with her receipt
