We are a no kill organization that provides homeless/abused/neglected animals of all breeds a 2nd chance. We work hand in hand with several rescues in numerous states to help abused animals. Hey all it’s me Zoey:
I was found along with my puppies on the highway. The ladies investigated finding tire tracks and our paw prints on a nearby gravel road. Not a house in sight for miles and miles. Due to no open kennel we went home with Ms Paula. Shortly after my puppies rode transportation to their new homes.
I never meet a stranger and give the best hugs. I’m not sure about the other dogs here. I want to play, but keep my guard up. See they are all different in their own ways. That’s why they live with Paula because they all have behavior issues and are not adoptable. Thinking I need to be friends with normal dogs woukd be the best for me.
I will be spayed soon and ready for my new home. Paula thinks I am housebroken due to I do not like using the restroom in my kennel. I wait as long as I can to be turned out in the yard to due my business. If you are interested in giving me a home please send the ladies a message.

Hey all it’s me Valentino.
My story is like so many other animals here at rescue. My mom was not spayed and had a litter of pups born to the streets. Lucky for me I was rescued and for now call MMAR home while waiting on the ladies to find me a home of my own. I am in a large kennel with Mesa and Zoodle and we play nonstop. Mesa is always super helpful to the ladies while cleaning our kennel, but not me. I like to watch the water going into the drain. I am very friendly and loving. I am looking for family to call my own.

Happy Sunday all:
The vans will be headed back to Arkansas today while Paula makes sure all kennels are cleaned and bellies are full. These 2 boys rode transportation over the weekend to start their new journey in life. MMAR has so many amazing animals waiting on their turn for a loving home to call their own.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Kris and Dr Sprang for taking such good care of Itty Kitty, Pogo, and our deaf girl Mali. These 3 babies are so fragile. Dr Sprang made sure before spaying to go the extra mile by doing test and x-rays making sure they would be safe. Due to prior illness in their little bodies we knew we had to make sure they would be able to handle surgery safely. They all did well and are now resting comfortably. They will return to MMAR with Mandy. This is a major stress relief from our minds. They are special and fragile and we will continue to love them daily.

Hey all it’s me Pickle:
Man just look at what I got to see today!! I was wondering how they were riding on 2 wheels and no doors. Jacey wasn’t interested but I sure was. I was happy to see my Chicago buddies also. Now I’m just wondering what is going on back at my house. Paula better not be messing with any of my stuff!! I’m already mad at her.

Mandy and Kelly hit the dark road last night for another transportation to Chicago.
They arrived safely Saturday morning and all their precious babies were unloaded and ready to start a new life. Transportation is a matter of life and death for many south Arkansas animals meaning transportation is their lifeline. MMAR is a no-kill rescue but so many are not in the South. The ladies will grab dinner and a nap before heading back to Arkansas.

We still need help covering this vet bill. Donkey has been paid in full, Paula purchased equine feed, but we have farrier coming for several trims today. Rescue is costly and we can not do it alone

When our plans do not work out so good.
Upon arrival we decided to give Maggie Mae a crate instead of a dog house. Thinking her being able to sneak peeks out of the side and not feel sacred in a house that she could only see out of the door. Needless to say she is officially feeling safe and needs a stronger house.

Happy Thursday all it’s me Pickle and I have got to tell
Yall what mom and Paula have been doing.
First:
on Tuesday I followed Paula to her car when she was finished feeding and cleaning. I was acting cute by shaking my b***y and wagging my tail. She said fine Pickle get in and I’ll take you for a ride. I was so happy and jumped in. I looked up and Jacey was getting in. NO NO NO!! These rides are for me and Paula only. I started pouting immediately and refused to get out of her car after our ride. Of course she told mom, but I wasn’t worried. They both ask me to get out, but I refused and curled up in the seat for a nap. They just kept talking to me like I wasn’t trying to nap. Paula drove me to the garage and gave me a treat, and I knew I was getting on her nerves so I stayed in her car. She drove back to rescue and told mom she needed to get going and I would not get out. Mom told me she would take me to tractor supply later if I got out. Well well well! I got out and mom NEVER took me.
Second:
The next morning mom loaded Layla, and Spicy to drive them to vets office. Can yall believe she said she had errands to run after she dropped them off and it would be hot so me and Jacey had to stay home. All I have to say is the only errand she should have been running was to take me to Tractor Supply like she told me she would. I missed seeing all my Hillcrest Animal Hospital friends thanks to her.
Just so it’s on record I am telling everyone these two ladies will pay for the way they treated me this week. We will be leaving Friday on transportation so mom better be ready for a major showing out from me. As for Paula she will get her pay back when I come back from transportation. She better see a doctor and get nerve medication because she will need it.

Maggie Mae had a blast meeting Ms Brenda yesterday. She wants so badly to be loved and touched but due to her previous street life she is still a little nervous. We will work with her daily and get her to where she feels comfortable
