We also occasionally receive pets from people who are unable to care for them. We are at Petsmart on Montano in Albuquerque nearly every Saturday, from about noon to 3:30 or later. If there is a dog or cat you would like to meet, please let us know, and we will be sure to have him or her with us. And by contacting us, we can let you know for sure if we will be there the day you want to visit Petsm

art. Typically, our adoption fees are $175 for any age or breed dog. The fees are to pay for veterinarian costs and are tax deductible. All dogs have been neutered; received all required vaccinations, including rabies; and have received basic house, and leash training.

Our Story

This is the year we pay off our mortgage, and a lot of plans are in the works. Our rescue mission has kind of curved around recently. Due to several different factors, we are concentrating on helping a few injured, and sick dogs, and have only a few adoptable dogs right now. We are also thankful to the Walmart Distribution Center for giving us all their damaged bags of dog, and cat food every two weeks. We bring the food home, sort it, then give it out to local rescues, and transportation groups. Future plans include remodeling our barn into kennels with outside runs. Also, remodeling our house to be more comfortable for the humans. Overall, the property needs maintenance, and repairs, and we are making those plans to happen in the near future. God has blessed us abundantly, and we are excited about the coming months, and years. We continue to care for our permanent residents--dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, ducks, and Louie, the goose. We love them all, and hope to give them even better homes in the future.
