A huge thank you to Loving Touch Grooming & Boarding Center, LLC for taking such fabulous care of the animals in our community, and to Epic Restaurant for sponsoring Solar & Jupiter’s spa day!

The teams at both of these businesses are near and dear to our hearts for so many reasons. We hope our community will show them the love they deserve, as they certainly give it back tenfold!

We’re thankful, thankful, thankful - and so are these freshly pampered pups! (Don’t miss our last post for their “before” pics… what a glow up!)

We have 2 pups at the groomer today! Would anyone be interested in sponsoring their spa day?? We are looking at around $150 for both pups!

🌟Solar was a stray that was brought into our local animal services division and sadly never claimed by anyone. He is heading to one of our rescue partners in transport next week, but we want to be sure he’s all clean and tidy before he meets his new family!

🌟The 2nd little guy, who we are calling Jupiter, just came into our local animal services division this week. To help take some extra work off of Paws, we offered to take him to our groomer and cover the cost. Poor dude is so matted and his eyes and ears are both beating treated for infections. This is going to be such a relief for him!

We can’t wait to see the end result this afternoon & share them with you! ❤️

Dr. Pupper is out of the shelter.

🎉 We did it - and then some! 🎉

Our goal to raise $5,000 by July 4th as the first step in our Rescue Relay campaign to purchase a new transport van was not only reached early… it was surpassed!

This incredible show of support from our community makes us feel confident that we can truly make this dream a reality, together.

🚐 We’re still working toward our initial $5,000 goal by 7/4 to kick off the campaign for a new transport van- 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐲! We are already over half way there and definitely feeling all of the love and support being sent our way ❤️

On day one of our campaign to get a new transport van in partnership with Paws Humane Society, we raised $𝟏,𝟒𝟒𝟏! 🙌🐶

Our initial goal is to raise $𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐛𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟒𝐭𝐡, powered solely by financial contributions from compassionate folks like 𝘺𝘰𝘶. Hitting this milestone will show that our community believes in this mission and is ready to help keep it rolling. 🛻💨

✨ All donations are being facilitated through Animal SOS, and the van will be registered under Paws Humane. The animals who benefit? They’re all from right here in our local community. This is truly a team effort, and we absolutely cannot do it without you.

Years ago, Animal SOS sold t-shirts that read, “Transport Saves Lives.” It’s more than a slogan, it’s a fact.

While we’re no longer sending over 100 pets a month like we once did, the lifesaving continues. Today, Animal SOS and Paws Humane Society are working together, sharing a transport van to move dogs and cats to trusted rescue partners up the East Coast—sometimes stopping at as many as four shelters/rescues on a single trip. Even if each partner can only take 4–8 animals per run, together we can fill a van and save a van load of lives.

Since 2018, our combined programs (Animal SOS’s Transfurs and Paws Humane’s Embark) have traveled 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟓𝟎𝟎,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐬 and saved over 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝟔,𝟐𝟎𝟎 𝐝𝐨𝐠𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐬.

Right now, shelters across the country are overwhelmed, but we’re seeing new opportunities to save more animals. To keep going, we need a new transport van, which comes with a big price tag—about $70,000.

We're kicking off this effort with a $𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐠𝐨𝐚𝐥 𝐛𝐲 𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝟒𝐭𝐡. Reaching this milestone will show that our community believes in this mission and is ready to help keep it rolling.

To streamline fundraising, Animal SOS is collecting the donations, but the van will belong to Paws Humane. We’ll share the costs of trips and maintenance. Together, under our new collaborative effort - Rescue Relay - we’ll continue saving hundreds of lives each year.

𝙿𝚄𝙿𝙿𝚈 𝙿𝙰𝙻𝙾𝙾𝚉𝙰 🎉

We have quite the number of pups in our care right now- and the best news is that each one has a foster or adoptive family waiting on them with our awesome rescue partners!

Each puppy receives several rounds of vaccines & dewormer while in our care, and if old enough they also get spayed & neutered prior to transport. (Otherwise our partners handle that prior to adopting them out!) We are trying to raise $100 per puppy to help offset some of these costs. Not to mention they are eating us out of house & home 😉

Can you skip your coffee run tomorrow and instead donate that money to these sweet faces? They send virtual kisses and puppy snuggles as a thank you 🐾

Ain’t no shame in our game — we’re begging!
If that’s what it takes to get these dogs on the road to better lives, then so be it. 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣?

We are in desperate need of short-term fosters. Boarding at vet offices isn’t sustainable, and we can’t pull more from the shelter until these pups have safe places to land. Right now, it’s a lose-lose situation.
