Christmas @ Cheshire Cardiology 2023
🌟Exciting Milestone🌟
🩺 Thrilled to share that we had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with specialists Jordi López-Alvarez from MemVet and Ian Self this week 🩺
👩⚕️Yesterday we performed the first transpulmonic stent placement at The Old School House on Arlo, a Frenchie with severe pulmonic stenosis👩⚕️
🫶This was a true testament to the power of collaboration and advancements. It highlights the importance of teamwork in achieving milestones🫶
🧡We used state-of-the art equipment and were grateful for the opportunity to make a positive impact on Arlo’s quality of life🧡

What a great week!
Emily spent a day scrubbing in to a stent placement with Kieran Borgeat and colleague. Lovely Lola (a French bulldog) had a narrowing of her pulmonary artery which needed to be ballooned and then a stent placed to keep it open. We’re looking forward to seeing Lola back for her recheck - more photos in the next post….

Secondly, the view from inside theatre ….
Couldn’t resist another couple of videos … first of all, the view into theatre 💯🤩👀
A tour of the premises, The Old School House, which is in Castle, Northwich, Cheshire. Situated only 10 minutes from the M6 (J19), 15 minutes from the M56 (J10) and 5 minutes from the A556 (Welsh Road).
Aptly named, we want the premises to be a teaching institute as well as continuing to offer a caring, high end cardiology referral service. The team can’t wait to show you round in person ❤️
23 years ago this month I followed my childhood dream and qualified as a vet.
After lots more work and exams, I specialised in veterinary cardiology. It was a long process but my it was so worth it!
I still absolutely love what I do and would do it all over again!
