We believe bullies are the best and we want the rest of the world to know just how special they are too! The mommas and dada came to rescue me on October 14, 2010. We consider October 14th to be my re-birthday. It was a long drive, over 300 miles round trip to get to the shelter in Divide, CO where they were going to euthanize me. The mommas tells me all the time that we were destined to be togeth
er. See dada didn't wants a dog but the mommas, the mommas really wanted a dog. Everyday she got online and looked at profiles of adoptable dogs (dada wouldn't let her go to a shelter in person cause he hated having to drag her out of there crying). After months of looking at so many wonderful dogs and being told "no" by dada over and over again, she finally came across my photo. The mommas says she just knew dada couldn't say no to me. She said my eyes in the picture were screaming for help. Dada says thats when he looked at my photo he saw the same plea for help and could not turn his back on me. When the mommas contacted the shelter, theyz were almost dead set on putting me to sleep. The mommas had to put up a big, HUGE fight to get them to agree to the adoption. The day they showed up to get me, I ran as fast as I could for the door and bolted straight into the mommas arms. I jumped up on dada and covered both of thems in kisses! I was so excited, my butts started wigglin out of control and my tail was waggin so fast! Iz jumped around in circles, stopping only to give more kisses. Again, the shelter workers tried to talk thems into taking another dog. They said Iz is too much of a handful and need too much work before Iz would be a good dog! Iz always been a good girl, my manners may not haves been the best but Iz was willing to do anything if its meant Iz could stay wifs them. The mommas said no, she told thems Iz was perfect and just whats she had been looking for! After they finished up the paperwork, we gots into the car and headed back down the mountain towards my new furever home! It didn't take me long to adjust to the house. The mommas said I was super smart cause she didn't have to teach me much, Iz already new most of my commands. And at the time, the mommas was working at a doggie day care so Iz gots to go wifs her to work all the time. Even though Iz was a Pit Bull, the mommas put me in group wifs the small dogs cause she says Iz have an attitude problem wif bigger dogs. I say its nots an attitude problem, they just needs to realize that Iz is the boss! The mommas customers were always so shocked when theys finded Iz was a Pit Bull playing with puppies and itsy bitsy doggies. The mommas would tell them that it was in my nature to be so gentle and careful wifs something so small. By the time the mommas quit working there, Iz had quite the fan club and the mommas said she was so proud of me for helping to change so many peoples minds about Pit Bulls. The mommas left the day care to start her own pet services business and she said that it meant we were gonna be able to spend all day everyday together. The mommas took me every where she went, car drives, walks, EVERYWHERE! The more time we spent out in public together, the meaner people started to be to me. They would yell at my mommas and tell her Iz was like a loaded weapon, that Iz was dangerous, that she was stupid and that she should be in jail and Iz should be killed. Iz didn't think that was very nice and the mommas would get so angry but she never lost her cool wifs these people. That is when we decided to start our own page to advocate for the breed and show the rest of the world what a Pit Bull really is. Iz was really happy the mommas chose me as her mascot cause Iz sure do loves taking pictures! Iz just wish the mommas would quit buying those pesky costumes. Iz is nots a doll! Pff..
