Thank you so much Dad for my beautiful ashes ring 💙 it felt like forever waiting for it to arrive. Now there will always be a piece of Leo with me wherever I go 🌈💙🐰

I’m finding the evenings really hard without Leo, we always use to snuggle up on the sofa in the evenings. Just looking back through some photos, they are making me cry and making me smile at the same time 🌈💙🐰

I now have a shelving unit where Leo’s house use to be, it seems to have turned into a bit of a shrine full of beautiful gifts I’ve had off such lovely people 🌈🐰 I had to keep his little train 💙 can’t believe it’s four weeks tomorrow, I can honestly say it’s been the worst four weeks of my life but whenever I feel sad or tearful I just think of the happy long life he had and how much love he brought to my life 🐰

I am going to keep Leo’s page up and running so I can share the odd video or photo every now and again. I’ve spent the last week looking back through all the footage on my phone and there’s enough to keep this page going for 100 years. He was such a little character, he had such a strong personality and definitely knew his own mind! Here’s a video from January 2019, he loved to hang out in his mums bed 💙

I would like to thank everyone for their support over this past week, I have been overwhelmed with love coming in all different forms. You have all made an incredibly difficult week that little bit easier with your love and gestures of kindness. It is incredibly clear how much my boy was loved 💙
I miss him more than words could ever express and my heart is broken, my home seems lifeless and far to clean and tidy. There will forever be a Leo shaped hole in my heart but his memory and his spirit will live on for as long as I am here. For a tiny little 2lb bunny he certainly took up a lot of space in my heart and in my home.

Two weeks today since Leo’s dental, he’s not fully back to eating normally yet but because he had a tooth out I think his little gums must be sore. He’s still on painkiller. He is enjoying little pieces of watermelon though 🍉 he’s happy that the sun is out this morning and is recharging ☀️

Bunny undate….he’s feeling much better and is eating more on his own now. He’s still not his full self but we are definitely out of the woods.
He’s had three days of antibiotics but I’m going to continue for another couple of days.
First photo is me getting the “bunny butt” that’s what you get for giving him medicine 🤣 second photo last night, having a little cwtch before bed 💙🐰

We’ve had a little setback with Leos recovery from his dental, he’s developed an infection in his intestines again 😢 the vet did say that this would probably be a common occurrence now. I noticed the signs yesterday so started him on antibiotics straight away. He hasn’t eaten anything in the night so I’ve syringe fed him this morning. Hoping he might start eating a bit on his own later. He is currently hiding under the sofa sulking because I force fed him! Photo taken last week.

I told mum if she doesn’t pack it in I’ll call for the men in the white coats 🤣 she’s taking advantage of my slightly drugged up state, as I’m still on painkillers after my dental last week.

We made it through another dental 🙏 he had to have another tooth out today because it was really loose so that’s 12 teeth gone now in total. Thankfully it was right from the back so the vet said it shouldn’t effect his eating. His food is always cut up very small these days and any hard food soaked.
He’s very drugged up at the moment and he’s sleeping off the anaesthetic. He will be on painkiller for five days and probably syringe feed for the same, but I’m hoping he might start eating on his own sooner than that. 
I’ve tried a home-made syringe feed of soaked and blended Barley rings to try on top of the critical care, he lost 3 ounces last time and we don’t want that to happen again.
Thank you for all your love and support, it’s the most horrendous feeling in the world having to drop him off at the vets and walk away knowing you are putting him through this, but there really is no other choice, if the Spurs grow too long, he will stop eating all together and go into GI status.
I’m leaving him alone at the moment, but he will be getting lots of cuddles later when he’s feeling a bit more up to it.

Please everyone keep Leo in your thoughts and prayers tonight, he’s going in for his dental tomorrow. Always an incredibly stressful time 🙏 he’s a tough and very stubborn little bunny but the recovery is hard now with his age.

Happy Father’s Day to my lovely Grandad, he is just the best 💙 he always has a huge supply of my favourite treats in his pocket and he always gives me loads of cuddles! Mum said he helps her a lot to pay my vets bills, apparently I’m a very expensive bunny with all teeth problems 🤣 have a great day grandad, see you later, love you 💙🐰💙🐰 ###
