There are many misconceptions and generalisations out there about brumbies. The stallions are too strong, the mares too flighty and the ponies too small.

I would like to shine some light on those brumbies, of all ages, sexes and heights that have gone on to become loved family members. Show me your brumby in the comments and what makes him/her so special!

I'll start. This is Breeze. A mature aged (8) stallion trapped in Toolara forestry in November 2022. He has stayed here at TBP headquarters with me and has been a delight. Inquisitive, smart, willing and SO trainable. He has moulded perfectly to domestic life and is a pleasure to own and ride.
