UPDATE: ADOPTED!❤️

This kitten has used up SEVERAL of its 9 lives!
A week ago, a Good Samaritan was driving thru the Narrows in Glen Dale, WV and saw the kitten against the barrier on the other side.
She stopped her car, put it in Park (in the Narrows!)🙀 and ran across the highway, chasing the kitten down the road until she finally caught it! She hugged it tight as she ran back across the highway to her car and got back in, but as she drove away the kitten panicked and climbed into her dashboard, where it stayed for the next 3 days, impossible to get to. Finally the husband had to tear the dashboard apart and they got the poor baby out. Currently staying in the family’s bathroom. It was so scared but it will now let you pick it up, pet it, will even purr. It’s eating soft cat food and using a litter box. The family has a small dog that doesn't like cats so they really hope it can go to a good home. They are unsure if the kitten is a boy or girl.
The kitten will be at clinic Thursday Aug 29 for the day. We’ll check kitty out, vaccinate and give wormer and flea prevention. No adoption fee to an approved home and we will spay/neuter kitten at our expense.🙂
Clinic is 86 27th Street in Wheeling, WV.
Hopefully someone will come in to adopt this precious kitten. ❤️

UPDATE: ADOPTION PENDING after he’s off his medicine!❤️

The folks who saw the kitten at Greg’s Market put out food and water and then went back to make sure it was still there and OK. So they are good people. ❤️
One of our volunteers (Hope) is on the way to pick up the kitten right now. The folks are meeting her and Kitten is safe. Thanks everybody!❤️

🙂 Thank You to EVERYONE out there that cares about stray cats! 🙂
These kittens, born to a stray cat beloved and cared about in a neighborhood in Moundsville, WV, were brought to clinic with mom cat this week to be spayed/neutered and released back outside. Mom was spayed and vaccinated and returned to her outside home with her caretakers, ❤️ fortunately we had a foster spot open up this week and kittens are safe inside! They’ve been spayed/neutered, had wormer and a Revolution flea treatment, along with their first kitty vaccinations.
They’ll need homes as soon as they adjust. ❤️

Believe it or not, these 2 STILL have not found a home.
Foster mom says she is (almost) desperate enough to split them up, since we've had some interest in 1 or the other. 😭Please don't let that happen...Please SHARE to help find a home that will keep these sweet little girls together!
They're spayed, up to date on vaccines, friendly, still kittens at just over 3 months old! 🩷 Please help spread the word so these lovely kitties can stay together! 🩷

Small kitten(7 weeks) Found at 43rd and Wood Street in South Wheeling, West Virginia. Finder must have placement today as she is leaving for vacation this afternoon. Kitten is most likely needing to be socialized before being around children. We can provide vaccines and spay at no charge. Contact us if you can help!

City workers In McMechen, WV just found this box of kittens. They’d like to find homes for them; call Shawn at the city building 304-534-2558.
Compassionate Care Cat Clinic can give free kitten vaccinations Friday, July 19. And can offer spay/neuter for these kittens.❤️

MILLIE & LILY
Siblings, 9 or 10 weeks old. We've had apps on Millie from a few folks wanting a long-haired kitten. But Millie LOVES her sister and doesn't want to leave her behind. (And you can see that Lily has her arm around Millie!🥰)
Millie is sweet and a bit bashful but purrs when held. Lily is also sweet and a purr machine! Both are BEAUTIFUL kittens. Vaccinated, have had Revolution flea preventative, & will be spayed this month. Adoption fee is by donation. Please share to help these 2 sweet girls get a home, together!

This will be a week of fireworks including the weekend after the 4th. Have you heard that more pets go missing this time of year than any other time???
Your dog does NOT want to go to a fireworks display with you. (And in the event your dog does go with you, runs off, and then you want him back, we hope your phone number is on his collar.)
PLEASE, it's better to keeps pets home, indoors, and safe! Your pets are depending on you.
