🙋🏼‍♂️ Hi all, reminder to please purchase your memberships before the end of January to avoid the increase of £10.

Any memberships purchased after the end of January 2025 will not be able to take advantage of the reduced price.

Those that have not yet purchased memberships should have received an email with instructions. If you have not please email Hilary or contact us on messenger and we will help you!

Events have been created for our 2025 season! How is it upon us already?!

New for 2025 .. LEAD REIN CLASSES ON CLUB DAYS! A chance for the riders of the future to get themselves in the ring! 💛💛

We have lots of qualifiers for you to look forward to this year and TWO ... yes TWO Concours D’Elegance classes for 2025 .... ready, set, SEW.

All the usual combined Training and area qualifiers to look forward too aswell!

⭐️ Memberships 2025 ⭐️

Benefits of membership are:

A friendly club which offers support for those who are new to owning their own horse, all the way to those who might want to access more regional and national events as part of a Club.
Reduced members entries for all our shows (our dates for 2025 season are attached for information).
Access to our points competitions and Championships for Showing and Dressage.
Access to team representation at British Riding Club Competitions over the year.
Access to qualification for the STARS Champion of Champions Show at Aintree in November.
We also run a range of more social events during the year.

When joining Lakes Riding Club, you are also joining the British Riding Club (BRC) which offers on-line training and news updates through the year.

If you are interested in joining, then please use the link below to access the Sport:80 system which the BRC now uses to take all memberships. This link will take you directly to the Lakes Riding Club page to join. Joining before the end of January will also give you an ‘early bird’ membership fee of £41.25 for senior members and £36.25 for juniors (under 18 at 1 January 2025). Fees increase by £10 after the end of January.

Calling all riders!
One of our Members Holly Ransome is undertaking research as part of her Physiotherapy Masters Degree into lower back pain in riders and this is an opportunity for us to help!!
The data collection will take place in February half-term (17 - 21 Feb) at Myerscough College - she needs as many people as she can get - whether you suffer with back pain or not.

As we approach the end of the year, we can reflect on what has been another successful season for the club with successes at National Championships and STARS Champion of Champions, as well as numerous personal achievements. Once again we have been able to run training events throughout the year and purchased new equipment which has been assisted by the generosity of our sponsors. We are very grateful of their support throughout the year. Thank you.

That’s a wrap for STARS 2024 ⭐️

Well done to all competitors, we have had a fantastic few days, everyone has done their absolute best and really have done the club proud.

We’ve had members representing us in more classes than we ever have before and coming home with some brilliant results, with many members battling through all weathers to get there.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the club during STARS and over the whole season, we couldn’t do it without you.
