We are looking for hard working, outdoor-type people to help us with horse care in Derry, NH. If you love horses and love to be outside, think about joining our crew!

Applicants must be reliable and have dependable transportation, since the horses need care 7 days a week in every type of weather.

We are looking to train someone to work weekday mornings from 7-11am or from 8-10 am. The ideal candidate can handle horses and is responsible for feeding, stall cleaning and barn chores. However, we welcome confident people who have horse experience or who have a love of horses and want to learn.

Our boarders are wonderful and our staff is knowledgeable and fun. You will have the chance to audit clinics, attend workshops, and learn all aspects of horse care from our experienced staff.

We are flexible with days - even if you can only work 1 or 2 days a week, we'd love to meet you.

If you are a parent and think your son or daughter would be interested, please have him or her contact us directly.

It’s a beautiful day at Winding Brook! The horses are outside enjoying the sunshine and our amazing staff is working hard to make sure they have fresh water and plenty of hay to keep them warm.

Our amazing staff is working hard to make sure our horses get what they need. Some horses are tucked into their warm stalls and some are out playing with their friends in the cold today. Either way, our horses are all warm and happy today, thanks to the hard work of our incredible staff!

Our February break horse care camps are back! We have 2 options this year -- a beginner option for ages 5-8 and an intermediate option for ages 8-12. Leadline lessons are included in the beginner camp, but intermediate camp is hands-on horse care camp only. Current WBF lesson students can contact their instructor for a discount code that is available until Feb 14.

Happy New Year!!

Our first equine birthday of 2022 is 7-year old Brandson! He enjoyed his molasses-and-oats birthday cake with a carrot candle this morning. What a ham!

We celebrate all our horses’ birthdays with a mini photo shoot and a yummy treat. They deserve to be spoiled, don’t you think? ❤️❤️

When one of our horses exhibits signs of colic and has to be sedated on a Friday night, our staff jumps into action, even if it’s after hours. Thank you to our incredible shift leaders for taking such good care of our horses!

Our winter staff meeting covers blanketing procedures, winter safety, and winter feeding. Shift leaders each take the time to teach an area of concern and take time to answer questions so everyone understands the concept. The WBF staff is truly amazing!!
