While doing photos, we were really having to fight with a few of our Polish, and wondered why in the world they were being so difficult to pose up. Well!!! We discovered that some of our Polish do NOT like the wooden block that we use to pose for photos... So, we've retaken some photos without the wood exposed, and BOOM! They posed properly 🤣😂 Imagine that? Goodness gracious, we should have thought of that sooner! Anyway, re-takes will have a blue base, and photos are replaced in those listings. 😎

Yesterday we attended the Cayuga Lake RCF in
Auburn, NY. We were blessed to win 3 BOB + 3 BOSB with 6 different Polish 😁 We also won TWO BRIS with ZZTOP & ELVIS. Congratulations to our fellow Polish exhibitors on your Variety & Class wins, and thank you to the judges for recognizing our animals.
As always, there were lots of laughs and shenanigans at the Polish tables. We truly have the best exhibitors around!!!!

Ace in the Hole Rabbitry had a "first" at the Garden State Rabbit & Cavy Breeders Show in Augusta, NJ on 11/30/24.... Jody hitched a last minute ride with Ken Nesbitt to the show and represented Team Earle, SOLO!! ☺️
We were blessed to win BOB & BOSB in the Specialty Show (Judge Ashley Sweeney), as well as BOB & BOSB in both all breed shows (A-Judge Daniel Barrett and B-Judge G Joseph Colucci). We also had BOV & BOSV wins in several classes. 🐰
To top off Jody's FUN day, we were honored to win BEST IN SHOW, Show B, under Judge Ashley Sweeney, with Donna: Black Jr Doe. ❤️
👏 Thank you to Mckenzie, Melissa Ordway and their team for putting on a great show.
❤️A special Thank You to the Team Polish ladies for helping keep Jody in line ☺️ and helping her run rabbits. Margaret S, Rachel W, Jenn L, Deb S.... you ladies ROCK!!! ❤️

We're extremely blessed and honored to have had an amazing 2024 Convention in Louisville, Kentucky. In addition to BOSB with our Black Sr Buck, we won Best Open Display (for which we had the privilege of receiving a grooming table that was made by L Dale Hansen). Below are our other top placings. We are excited to have had over 35 of our Polish find homes in several states, from coast to coast, North to South. Congratulations to everyone on their wins 🏆

Ace in the Hole had a fun weekend at the 2024 NY State Convention "Grand Finals" at the NYS Fairgrounds in Syracuse. We were honored to win BOB & BOSB in all 3 of the all-breed shows as well as in the Empire State Polish specialty show. In Black, Broken & REW we took 47 of the 48 class wins with 12 BOV & 12 BOSV. What a blessing!! Thank you to all of the judges for recognizing our animals. And a big thank you to our fellow exhibitors for helping Jody get animals to & from the table. Yesterday was our TARBA Show in Cortland NY. It was a very well attended show with approximately 1900 rabbits. Thank you to everyone who came out to the show and supported the club. With so many high quality rabbits and great breeders present we knew the competition would be tough. In Show A We were honored to win BOB in Polish with our our Black sr doe Taylor Swift and BOSB with our Broken Chocolate sr buck Billy Idol. In Dutch we won BOB with our Steel Sr Doe. In Show B we again were honored in Polish to win BOB this time with our Black Sr Buck 530pz and BOSB with our Broken Black Sr Doe Olivia Newton John. On the Best-in-show tables we were blessed to win Second Reserve-in-show with Taylor Swift for Show A and then in Show B we won Reserve-in-show with 530pz. Congratulations to the Lyons on their BIS wins with their beautiful Angora and also to Rob Frizzell and Tim Repine on their wins. Thank you to the judges for recognizing our animals on the show tables. So that's a rap on the 23-24 New York State Show season. Our next show will be in Bath NY on July 13th.

Yesterday we attended the Mohawk Valley RBA Show in Frankfurt NY. The weather was great and so was the show. It was a nice venue and well run. Congratulations and thank you to the club. We were extremely honored to win BIS with our Black Sr Buck 500pz in Show A under Judge Stacey Groncki. Then in Show B we went on to win RIS with (not a black!) our Broken Chocolate Sr Buck Billy Idol under Judge Corey Hayes. Thank you to the Judges for recognizing our animals.

About Ace in the Hole Rabbitry

Raising Best-In-Show-Quality Polish, Dutch, Dwarf Hotot, Holland Lop and Himalayan Rabbits. Located in the Finger Lakes of NY.

Our 3 sons started showing rabbits as 4-H exhibitors many years ago, and we’ve been blessed to be able to continue raising quality rabbits ever since. Our very first rabbit was a beautiful Black Mini Rex named Ace. He sparked our love of rabbits, and our rabbitry is named after him. Ace lived to a hearty & healthy age of 12 years old. Although we no longer show Mini Rex, we keep Ace’s lines alive in our barn with a few beautiful Mini Rex pets, in his honor.
