When Iβm not hunting down my next adventure, I do enjoy a good stroke, but Iβm far too busy for cuddles!

We've been to see the vet π₯, where we have been vaccinated, neutered, chipped π and made up to date on our flea and worming treatments ππͺ±. So now we are all ready to move to our forever home π
β οΈ Important - We are long-term carriers of Calicivirus, so we must be the only cats in the house. We are healthy currently, but we may experience flu flare-ups and are prone to dental and gum issues.
Now that we've been through the basics, it's "Get-To-Know-Your-Favourite-Felines-Time"
Let's start with me, I am Frida Catlo π, purrhaps the cheekiest little lady you'll ever meet πΌ. Whatever you're doing, I must also be involved π½. We are Halestorm and Queen Adreena πββ¬, a pair of 2 year old sisters, who are looking for a forever home where we can continue to live our rockstar lives πΈπ½
We have been to see the vet π₯, where we were neutered, chipped π and given all our flea and worming treatments ππͺ±. Now we're all ready to pack up our guitars and find our forever stage πΈπ
Let us tell you a bit about ourselves. We were found in a garden πͺ΄, so we will be shy when we first meet. Queen Adreena is the bravest and Halestorm will always follow what she does π
We really like to play! Every evening when our human gets home, we wander down from where weβve been napping, for play time π»! Our favourite games are with ping-pong balls ππ. We love to chase them all over the place π»! Halestorm also loves her ball track toy and Queen Adreena likes to leap and attack the wand toys, especially when they have feathers πͺΆ! We also have a favourite cat tree that we hope you have space for in our new home π³!
Even though we could sleep anywhere in our foster home πΈ, we like to sleep on a rug next to our foster human's bed ποΈ. We are still shy and will hide under the bed, but wave around a magic wand and we will come out to play πͺ. During the night when our foster human is asleep, we like to play zoomies and will chase each other around π¨πΈ
Queen Adreena, the brave lady that she is, likes getting cuddles and has even started to purr π! However, Halestorm is still learning how friendly humans are, so she doesnβt like being stroked yet, except for with a toy stick. Neither of us likes being picked up, but itβs not too hard to get us into cat boxes with a bit of time π
When we get to our new forever stage, we would appreciate a gradual introduction to all the different staging areas πΈ. It would be great if we could have our own dressing room that we can get ourselves settled in first, before gradually introducing us to our adoring fans and the rest of the crew βοΈβοΈ. All the best acts take their time π»π

Itβs been months since we were able to accept a new cat into our care, despite being closed to new cats we still have a hefty 57 cats in care π₯Ή
Weβve got a lot of very poorly cats, many of whom are subject to ongoing and serious health investigations π₯
The only thing more depressing than having poorly cats is having healthy cats who are ready to go off to their forever home, but havenβt received any suitable interest π
Weβve got 6 cats ready to rollβ¦bags are packed, they are just waiting for a chance π

I do loveee my food π» but I have to be careful. i have a sensitive tummy πΏ, but this is getting better every day π. I've just gotten used to eating felix wet and dry food and the odd Lick-e-Lix as a treat π¬
Once we get to know each other, I will enjoy being cuddled and stroked and will soak in all the attention I can get π», however, you need to play it cool and let me come to you β€οΈ. I am not the biggest fan of being picked up, this is due to my rib problem
If you would love a special boy in your life, then I could be the one for you π», if you could prepare for my arrival by setting up a safe cat den for me, that would be just purrfect β€οΈ

When I first came to foster care, I was very scared and nervous so hissed π and hid π. But after a lot of hard work Iβm now a much more confident and regular house cat π». I love being around my foster mum and follow her everywhere. I cosy up in the settee π with her and sometimes sit on the back behind her β€οΈ. I love playing with my foster mum so much, especially with that red dot π΄ and feather toy πͺΆ, and come running when she calls me for Dreamies π¬
My foster mum says Iβm going to make a great pet πββ¬, but I still donβt like being touched and will give you a wide berth when you walk past me. I am so much better now that I donβt hide and I come straight back to you π»
If you're happy with a cheeky bundle of fun and want great company, then Iβm your girl π, but no touching please. That will come when Iβm good and ready. I would love a kind patient person who has experience of nervous kitties πΊβ€οΈ

Meowww πΎ. Are you looking for a pair of rockers? Well, look no further!
We are Halestorm and Queen Adreena πββ¬, a pair of 2 year old sisters π who are looking for a forever home where we can continue to live our rockstar lives πΈπ½.
We have been to see the lovely vet people π₯ where we were neutered, chipped π and given all our flea and worming treatments ππͺ±. Now we're all ready to pack up our guitars and find our forever stage πΈπ .
We have just co-parented 10 kittens and since our kittens moved onto new homes, our kitten-like personalities have started to emerge π½. We really like to play - espically with those feather sticks πͺΆ. And Halestorm can be clumsy, she's always knocking over the cat tree and scratching post πΉ!
Let me tell you a bit about us. We were found in a garden πͺ΄, so we will be shy when we first meet. Halestorm might hiss but that is just because she is scared πΏ. She always checks what her big sister Queen Adreena is doing. We dont like been picked up and Halestorm does not like been stroked. But Queen Adreena has just decided that chin strokes and ear cuddles are really super nice π»β€οΈ!
Since we like you, I'll tell you a secret. The way to win us over is Lick-e-Lix. We have morning π and night π treat time and eat it off our human's hand. We would like to be introduced to our new forever home slowly and it would be great if we could stay in one room to start with so we can get to know each other gradually π½β€οΈ.
β οΈβ±οΈπ We could live with a cat-pal given we have a slow and sensible introduction. However, we're happy being a dual ensemble so this is not essential.
β οΈβ±οΈπ We could live with a cat-friendly dog-pal as long as we have a very gradual introduction.
β οΈβ±οΈπΆπ» We could live with older, cat-savvy children as along as they know that we will need lots of space and time to warm up to them.
β οΈβ±οΈπͺ΄ We will need the option of a garden so we can explore once we've settled in, as long as we're up-to-date on all our vaccinations.

πΉππ€π§‘π€ BRIZA UPDATE π€π§‘π€πΉπ
I took lovely little Briza to be neutered, blood tested, flea and wormed and vaccinated today. Itβs so lucky I did because she had a pyometra (a severe and life threatening womb infection)
Sadly, she also has feline leukaemia π₯Ή π
Sheβs only a young girl (estimated less than 9 months) and other than being skinny from a lack of food, she is healthy at present.
A massive THANK YOU to the excellent Vet, Dr Sam who is going to look after her while she finishes her antibiotics and until she is able to go to her forever home.
I donβt know how long Brizaβs forever will last, but Iβm grateful she now has the opportunity to live a better life, off the streets π€

Another day, another death.
A few days ago we posted about a young female cat who had kittens after becoming pregnant by her brother.
2/3 died within hours of birth and the 3rd has sadly just passed away.
Even at a couple of days old, it was clear the kitten had some underlying, cognitive issue, potentially down to inbreeding.
Thank you to Demi for rushing the little bean over to our vets.

I am 4 years old, I know what you're thinking - I'm far to young to be a doctor already! Well, I'm just extremely clever beyond my years.
I am looking for a house to call my own - I need to be the only cat as I don't like to share my hoomans. Never met a dog - don't think I'd like them either, though.
As you can tell by my application video, I'm not always such a serious chap. Give me catnip and I'm anybody's friend!
I've been snipped'n'chipped and seen by the vets who said I'm ready to go! I am now just waiting for my right home to appear!

Kitten Season
Wow. What a crazy kitten season it has been!
When we started up Cat-CHING in April, we had absolutely no idea how busy it would make us nor how many cats would end up in our care. It seems like just yesterday when we rescued our first mum and kittens. We rescued Princess from a ladyβs garden where she had being fed,and where she ended up having her kittens. Princess was a fantastic mum to her three babies and was very trusting to both of us.
The highest number of cats in our care at any one time was 87. Thatβs 87 cats spread across our homes, the allotment and multiple foster homes; consisting of cats of all ages, colours and sizes. Jump ahead to October, weβre finally starting to feel like our lives are getting back to some sort of normality (although, were they ever really normal in the first place?!). We now have only 54 cats and kittens in our care; most of whom are now getting ready to go to their new homes.
We would like to say a MASSIVE thank you to everyone who has helped us over the past few months. All those who have donated towels, sheets, food, toys... The list is endless. Everyone who has shared our posts on Facebook, helping spread the word about our available cats and what we are doing. Those that have donated money - we couldnβt have fed or treated the kitties without that. To everyone who has helped us feed & clean up after the cats at the allotment and helped with clearing it. To all those amazing people who volunteered their houses to foster for us - we donβt know what we would have done without you. To our friends and families who have supported us through all the losses and difficult times - believe us, there have been a few! And last, but most definitely not least, everyone who as given one of our rescue kitties a new, loving, warm home. They appreciate it more than you could ever know.
We look forward to seeing what the next year brings us and look forward to bringing you all along for the ride!
