East Anglian Guinea Pig Rehoming East Anglian Guinea Pig Rescue (EAGPR) rescues, rehabiliates and re-homes guinea pigs across Norfolk, Suffolk and further afield.

Based near Diss / Harleston and happy to help with guineas needing homes We are based in Fressingfield, near Harleston, Diss. We encourage people to 'think rescue' for small pets, as many people do not realise that guinea pig rescues (or rescues for other small animals) even exist. We have re-homed over 300 guinea pigs and the number continues to grow. East Anglian Guinea Pig Rescue is entirely self-funded and rely on donations and fund-raising to continue to help more guinea pigs.

In addition to our lovely gifts we received two very kind donations via PayPal of £50 and £20, I was able to thank one but the other I’ve had to message via PayPal which isn’t terribly reliable! If Liz is reading this, thank you so much! We really appreciate these donations and will stock up on dry food and posh hay 💜

Despite us taking a break from surrenders and adoptions we are still busy looking after our elderly resident piggies and delighted to be on the receiving end of The Guinea Pig Secret Santa project with various packages arriving over the past few weeks. We cannot thank the organisers and our generous Secret Santas enough for all these thoughtful goodies, our piggies will feast on these over the coming weeks!
We have also had some lovely hay donations from our regular Guinea pig angels, much appreciated as ever.

Wishing all of our supporters a very peaceful and happy Christmas and a good year in 2025

Love

Sophie and all the piggies

Today we welcomed back Reggie (was Jason) after he lost his cage mate. He already has a home lined up with another piggy adopted from us who has found himself in the same position, hopefully they will appreciate each other’s company

❤️ Herd home needed ❤️

If anyone is looking for a bonded herd, we have a little family of 6 here that would love to stay together. I’d like them to stay as they are and not be mixed in with a larger group.

Obviously they will need a huge space, so I might be asking the impossible, but just in case somebody was looking ….

Message me if suitable and we’ll go from there

Special Homes Required

We have two boar pairs who are on the older side but that are healthy and would still love a home to call their own. If you are an experienced Guinea pig person and have room in your hearts and home for these lovely boys, please do get in touch. Indoor homes for these lads please 💙
