10 mo Sophie is learning some great hunting dog skills! Hold conditioning and moving to FF,. She knows "place", so getting her in the Mutt Hutt was easy and fun for her. Morning walk in our upland field with Rose, her grandmother, requires a sit and treat. Have a great Sunday!

Temps were cool; reminded us of early teal and dove season! Young hunting dogs got great experience with retrieving multiple ducks from the Mutt Hutt all while hearing multiple duck calls and guns. Ike, Remi and Rosie did fantastic! We'll be repeating this scenario many times before these pups head home!

Dakota HRC's 20th Anniversary Hunt was a great weekend for the LTL crew. Cash is at 905 HRC points - last stretch to 1,000 points. Buzz achieved his HR title. This father/son duo has a busy fall ahead in APLA!!

Upland work this morning with the three - 8 mo Cash/Tango pups here for training. This is Walter, owned by the Labat family. Walter's point was terrific, he let Russ put up the bird, marked it well, and retrieved to hand.

It was Father's Day Sunday, Cash celebrated the occasion with two Finished passes, putting Cash at 860 HRC points. Three of the GRHRCH Stokley's Let Freedom Fly MH x 4xGMPR HRCH Lone Tree's Pocket Full of Change MH pups had great success running Seasoned at Salt Valley HRC. Another pup had a great test weekend running at Duck Factory HRC!

Buzz, SHR APR LTL's Chainsaw Massacre of FR passed two Seasoned tests, one more to go for his Seasoned title.

Shout out and thank you to the Salt Valley HRC members. Another fantastic test, overcoming some challenges with the rain, appreciate everyone's hard work!

LTL was on the road and attended the Salt Valley HRC test this past weekend.
Big congratulations to Brant Kurtz and Rolling 6's Pointing Labradors with two freshly minted Started Hunting Retrievers:
SHR CPR Rolling 6's Leaving on a Jet Plane, "Tripp" received his title Saturday.
SHR Rolling 6's Locked Cocked and Ready to Rock, "Cardi", passed both Saturday and Sunday to receive her title Sunday!

Thank you to Mt.Rushmore HRC! We had a fantastic weekend on beautiful grounds, with fantastic hospitality and weather!
The youngsters have had a great start to hunt test season! Cardi, Rolling 6's Locked Cocked and Ready to Rock, second started pass. CPR Rolling 6's Leaving on a Jet Plane, Tripp with a third started pass. Chip is now CPR SHR LTL's Piece of the Rock, with a title pass. We only ran Started Sunday due to Started judging commitments, these guys made it sweet success!

4xGMPR HRCH Lone Tree's Pocket Full of Change MH added 30 points to his 800! Ran like the all star he is! Thanks to the judges - tests this weekend were fun and challenging- no gimmies in Finished!

Rosie, 7 mos, has been training here at LTL for a little over two months, this was her second upland exposure. Great delivery, she sat when the bird was delivered. Rosie is owned by the Van Dams, is a pup from our 4xGMPR HRCH Cash MH x GMPR HRCH Tango litter.

Jazzy is growing up, now 6 months old and weighing 55 #. She loves her weekly play visits! She is bred by Lone Tree Labradors, sponsored by Jody Hawk and being raised by Ron & Ursela Vigil.

CPR Rolling 6's Leaving on a Jet Plane "Tripp", picked up his 2nd HRC Started pass, and is now an APLA Certified Pointing Retriever. Congratulations to Brant Kurtz!

CPR LTL's Piece of the Rock of NCK, "Chip", picked up 2 passes in HRC and is a Certified Pointing Retriever.

APR SHR LTL's Chainsaw Massacre of FR, "Buzz" is now an Advanced Pointing Labrador.

4xGMPR HRCH Lone Tree's Pocket Full of Change MH celebrated his 8th birthday this past weekend with Russ and the good folks at the Kansas City Hunting Retriever Club. His two passes for the weekend have Cash sitting at 800 HRC points! Words can't express how extremely proud we are of the wonderful dog Cash is, his accomplishments and the wonderful pups he's produced.

LTL had a great weekend with some great young dogs - we only ran Started on Sunday- all dogs were successful picking up their first passes in Started!

Cash passed Sunday - moving him closer to our goal for the summer of 1000 points.
