Well today I had to go to see my onkalologist got my last chemotherapy and chest xray and you know what?? YEP! I’M A ROCKSTAR AND I AM IN REMISSION! My chest xray was clear! I did it! Mama and my dad told me I’m a rockstar, so I did rockstar things! Fanks everyone for your love and support. You helped me and my pawrents more than you know. Norman’s Army 💪🏼

Hi friends,
I just gotta say OH MY DOG I have had so many people send me gifts, donate to my gofundme. My pawrents had a big pawty for me yesterday and there were so many friends and family there. I had so much fun. But the running around playing hit me hard and I got super tired. I also don’t have much of an appetite today mama says it is probably from my treatment on Thursday. So I am resting today. But I just am overwhelmed with all the love and support. A big thank you and a bunch of sloppy kisses to everyone. 😘 😘 I lub you all!!!!

Just got back from Norman’s 2nd chemotherapy treatment. The doctor said that all his bloodwork looked good so she was able to increase his chemo drug a little more. He also did great while getting treatment. And when it was time to go this boy pulled like a bull. He had to pull me all around the grass area out front of the doctors office to find the right spot to p*e. And side note not one person at either vet’s offices said anything about his new tag on his collar. If you zoom in on the first picture you can see it.

This handsome feller had a great weekend. He is eating and drinking great (yes of course we are giving him good treats) and is starting to get up and do things like he did before surgery. He is walking around more and is getting the hang of it better each day! He’s had visitors all weekend (aunt showed up at 5am), got flowers delivered to him and cards from his army. So he definitely is a rockstar!!!!!

Hey guys,
Wel we just met with my onkalologeest and she was pretty nice. I gave her kisses, but I’ve always been pretty smooth with the ladies. She said since I am doing so super duper good one week post op, I could start my medicine today. Gonna do it for 5 times. And you know who takes the same medicine? MY POP! So if I have any problems I’m gonna ask hims. Lucky for me I know a lot of cool onkalolological nurses, too, so that is another win for me! My dad may or may not have gotten me a cinnamon buns for snack tonight. Shhhhhhh. Anyway, I’m pretty worn out from all the excitement today and they didn’t want me to eat anything in case I needed more testing so I am tired and hungry. Blood work all looked awesome, I’m healing good. Your boy is a rockstar! Keep those good vibes going! 💪🏼 TEAM NORMAN!

Hey guys
Mama surprised me and didn’t have work today so she’s my nurse. I finally decided it was time to give her kisses cause I was giving everyone else kisses but her. I was mad at her. But you know who I gave kisses to as soon as I got home? MY POP! He came over and I was in the sofa laying and I heard his voice and started wagging my tail. He got on the floor and gave me lovins and I gave him a face full of kisses! So mama just had me outside and I got down off the sofa and walked around and got back all by myself! She says I’m doing great. That rotten leg isn’t gonna stop me. Mama reads me your cards and words of encouragement every day. Norman’s Army 💪🏼. Well I’m pretty tired now so I think I’m gonna take a sleepies. Love you so

Just got the call from Norman’s vet. His surgery went great. They said he is in recovery sleeping it off. And she also said he was a rockstar during surgery.

Good Morning Guys,
Wel, I am here just chillin before I head to see Doc Spencer and her team. You know, she’s been my Doc since I’ve been in Pencilbanya and she’s pretty cool. She wasn’t even my Dr last week when we found out but she was in the office and immediately came in the room, laid in the floor with me and told me she loved me. I lub her and I know if she didn’t think that this soorgery would help she would tell my pawrents. Everybody is telling me that I’ll be the best looking tripod and I’ll be chasing frisbees and tennis balls in no time. But if you could send me some good vibes today that would be great. I promise I’m gonna be a big strong boy! Keep an eye on my pawrents while I am at the doctor. They worry and they’re so sad. Mama keeps saying she knows she is #2 cause Dad takes top spot but she is a wreck. And dad…..how he loves me so! I am his best friend. He is definitely my best friend and he loves me so! I just need some more time for frisbee and ball and sitting out in the grass and eating good food! Oh yeah my dad grilled me a steak last night!! It was deeeeelish! I told dad to keep everyone posted but I’m gonna be kept pretty sleepies for today. So happy thoughts and I’ll talk to you all soon. Fanks to everyone showing love and support to me and my family. I got this! 💪🏼

Little update for Norman. We had to go get his pre-surgery bloodwork today. And pickup a written prescription for post operative surgery. After going to 3 different pharmacies we were finally able to get his fentanyl patch filled at Rite Aid. Found out that CVS will not fill any narcotics prescriptions for animals. His still has good times and bad. We do have a gofundme account set up for him to help offset some of his bills. It can be found on my personal page. If anyone wants to donate if you can’t donate please share. And for those that don’t like gofundme I also have Venmo , and Apple Pay. Norman has to beat this as he has to teach Cole his younger brother how be a gentle giant like him. Thank you all for your support and prayers.

Well I know you all know something is wrong wif my leg. It’s ouchie right now. Mama and Dad have been real real sad. All I know is that I am a big strong boy and I’m gonna fight whatever I got to! Thank you all for the kind thoughts and words. Norman is celebrating his 8th birthday next month and we are having a party for him. He loves people! I don’t know how to begin this post……
Our boy Norman started limping on his back leg and in the past day or so stopped putting weight at all on his leg. We immediately made an appointment at vet and today we got news that we were never expecting. Norman has a very aggressive form of bone cancer. His vets have known him since we brought him home and without any treatment he only has 4-6 months. They recommend amputation of his leg at this time. They said if it were their dog it’s what they would do. He had to have a chest xray to make sure it hasn’t spread to his lungs already. They feel it hasn’t but there are a couple of questionable spots that they feel are from his age but have to wait for a radiologist to look at the films to be sure. If it has spread, no surgery. We should hear this evening. It’s very aggressive and very painful. They will cancel surgeries next week to do his. I’m not sharing this for peoples opinions on what or what not to do, but because Norman is and has been loved by many and I wanted to make people aware. We are obviously heartbroken right now and our first and foremost priority is making sure that he is comfortable. I cannot even believe this right now…….

Hi friends we know it’s been awhile since we posted anything. But we have been very busy. Back in June mom and dad adopted another baby. His name is Cain and he is a Siberian husky. He is a handful. Then in march they decided to get Cain a playmate. His name is Cole and he is a German shepherd husky mix. Cole and Cain became best buddies. So now me and sissy can rest a bit. So her are the pictures of the new babies added to are family.

Guys it has been a while. We all have been adjusting to the addition of Cain. Everything has been going good. Cain is starting to lean the ropes of the house. And he has been sleeping through the night without potting on the floor. Cain has a birthday coming up on Saturday he is going to be 1. He has gotten Ellie to be more playful and he won’t leave me alone with his playfulness. I guess all in all he is a good little brother.

Cain has been with us a little over a month. He is as tall as Ellie now. He is pretty fast in the yard. And he likes to play. Him and Ellie sing together sometimes. And he likes to snuggle with me. I guess he is alright.

Well, my brudders DNA came back. My dad and mama thought because the rescue originally said shepherd husky mix and when we went to pick him up they said he was supposedly pure bred, they would get test to see. Well, results are in….
