Self-berating is commonplace and inhibits our aliveness, joy, and self-worth.

Notice where you speak ill of yourself, either to others or most often internally to yourself. And notice how awful it feels.

We “should" all over ourselves! Consider who would you be in the absence of all of these “shoulds”? How would you feel WITHOUT the energy of judgment?

When we realize life IS the way it is, including ourselves, we find harmony and see life as a series of choices. It’s at that point we begin to access true freedom.

This quote is found in Charles Spurgeon's sermon, "Mahanaim or Hosts of Angels" No. 1544.

Inward eye means "third eye."

Spurgeon turned Jacob, a prophet, into an occultist by saying, "He became a seer, and was enabled by the inward eye to behold the hosts of shining ones whom God had sent to meet him."

By the way, "shining ones" is an occult term. "The Shining Ones have appeared in many myths and cultures by different names and descriptions always as gods or creational forces of light." In the non-canonical book of Enoch, "shining ones" means Nephilim, Angels, or Watchers.

Jacob did not have a third eye in order to see shining ones! Witches and Wizards are the ones who use a third eye to see into the demonic spirit realm, not God's people.

Jacob was able to see angels (not shining ones!) because God chose to allow him to see them at that particular time. Jacob had no inward eye (third eye) with which to see the angels, which is the way Spurgeon presented it—"enabled by the inward eye."

Spurgeon's disingenuous twisting of God's and Jacob's characters by inserting an "Inward eye" and "shining ones" into an historical biblical event is outrageous and further evidence of his syncretist agenda.

Syncretism is the fusion of differing systems of belief. Charles Spurgeon's sermons served to fuse Christianity and the occult via the use of occult terms, titles, and as this excerpt illustrates, CONCEPTS.
