Long post, sorry. This is a direct result of hunting conservation. Just the facts that most anti-hunting groups ignore. I did a paper in high school about this. There's more money given to animal conservation through the hunting community than any other group. Money donated to Anti-hunting groups like PETA and the ASPCA go to lobbyists in DC to abolish hunting. Hunting license money and money given to groups like the NWTF, Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation and Safari Club International go primarily to protecting a healthy population of animals for harvest and for the continuation of their species. If you love seeing these beautiful creations that God graced us with, thank a hunter and give to legitimate conservation groups. Everyone have a great week. Rant over....

Reagan went out this evening by herself behind the house on our property and killed her first squirrel ever with a pellet gun. Then killed her first deer by herself with a crossbow. I'm so proud of the young lady she is becoming.

I don't get to hunt much these days so getting out is always a blessing. There's no better feeling than the one you get seeing your target buck on the ground. It was such an awesome hunt.

With the busiest time of year for us, I've been slacking on getting photos and posting them. I'll do better. Here's a fairly new form that I haven't used before. Seems very popular with the folks that have seen it. And a small glimpse of euros waiting to go home. The euros this year have been INSANE! Thank goodness for my buddy knocking them out. Hey y'all! I'm looking for a few spare capes. If you kill a decent buck that you're not going to shoulder mount, ask the butcher to cape if for you. Bring it by the shop and I'll do the rest. I'll pay you back for the fee, either by taking it off the price of your euro or I can just reimburse you if your doing a euro yourself. Please let me know if anyone has any. Have a great evening.

Had an amazing time with some great friends in my home state of West Virginia this week on a bear hunt. As usually, she didn't disappoint. The weather was perfect, the fishing was great and we both came home with bears. I got a pretty cool mount in mind for this one. Vacation is over, back to work in the morning...

Just had a late lunch/early birthday dinner. Tried some of this wingman seasoning from Hangar Bay on our T-Bone steaks.
