We dedicate ourselves to providing a quality service that adds value to your life as well as your treasured family member. Jessica Huang is the Owner and Groomer of Pupwash911. Growing up, she always had a passion for all types of animals, especially dogs. In her youth, she has raised different types of pets such as hamsters, fishes, rabbits, turtles, but never a dog. Her childhood dream was to be

come a veterinarian and to one day own her own practice, however her plans changed during college. After college, she worked in various industries unrelated to pets. However, she felt like she was still missing a piece of her life and wanted to be involved with dogs. In 2008, she rescued Bella, a Formosan Mountain Dog from Taiwan, and ever since then life has never been the same. She decided to give dog grooming a try and quickly learned that dog grooming was what she was looking for in a career: growth, creativity, and most importantly the dogs. She didn’t like how most pet grooming shops operated their business where dogs were kept in cages for long hours, stressed environment, and didn’t have the same groomer for her dog. She believes that dogs are our best friends, our family, and our most loyal and true companions that should be given the best care possible. In 2018, she attended California Paw Grooming School, Cypress, CA and graduated with a certification. In 2019, she worked at a pet salon to gain more experience and knowledge. When the opportunity came to own a mobile dog grooming business, she decided to take the risk and create a more stress-free environment for the dogs. Even though she only has a few years of grooming experience, she continues to invest in her business and education by attending seminars, workshops with certifications, trade shows, webinars, participating in online forums, and reading grooming books. She has a passion for learning, polishing her skills, and is always looking for fresh and new techniques, tools, products, and ideas that will help take her grooming skills to the next level. She is thrilled to be starting a new adventure and sharing her services with you. She hopes that you will follow her journey as a first time entrepreneur and a professional dog groomer.

Everyone loves that fluffy coat on doodles and poodles, but these looks do require A LOT of work!

Regular bushing 3x a week (the more the better), combing to check your brush work, and having grooming on a schedule are keys to keeping those longer coat.

We like to recommend a bath and tidy up every 2 weeks and a full grooming session every 4-6 weeks. Otherwise, anything longer is going to get matted and a shave down will only be the way to start all over.

Key on File Service (In/Out Home Access) A great option for my clients who aren’t at home. First time clients are required to be present for initial groomer/client consultation upon arrival. This will not be required for future appointments. For your convenience, you can provide us with a key, keypad code, or a garage code for ease of accessibility when you are not able to be at home during a scheduled grooming appointment. Thank you @breaspecialevents for having me at the Third Annual Brea Pet Expo! For the longest time I was the customer going to these pet expos and events. Now I am on the other side as a business owner - learning, growing, and pivoting my business when necessary. It was so fun to meet new people, shop, and network for vendor opportunities in the future. I had the best view in the house with my booth next to the rescue/adoption organizations. Wishing I could adopt all the pups back home with me!
