Edited - Lovely new home found. Thanks 🤩

Looking for a special home for these 2 elderly dogs. Must be homed together. They have been in a foster home for many months and now need a permanent arrangement. They are both neutered and in good health. Both recently had a dental. Just need someone special to care for them.
Please contact Iona directly on 07740 237728 if you think you are the special home that can offer these two their future together. ❤️

Lulu is still looking for a home! She is a happy, friendly girl who loves people. Fine with other dogs but not small animals. We think she would be fine with another hound in the home. She is excited to go for walks so still initially pulls a bit but settles down. Can be left for a couple of hours after a walk. Not a first dog but she will be amazing with a family with some hound experience.

Cooeee!! SPIKE here again. 👋

You might have noticed that we are over half way through the month and I am still here!

Yes, I am November's DOG OF THE MONTH.

Chosen because I need a little extra help to get noticed. Why?

* I am a largeish black boy (we are the last ones to be picked, apparently) 😪
* I am bouncy, but that's because I just LOVE attention. I love people. It's Me! Me!
* Although everybody at kennels thinks I am gorgeous, I have been here since February with little interest
* I am big but am good with other hounds, I share with a teeny little lady, WILLOW

I am only 4 years old and one of the nicest boys in the kennel.

So, please form an orderly queue, call Celia on 07826 244765 and ask for SPIKE 🙏.

Let's share this handsome boys face far and wide, and help get Rocco the family he deserves 💚

I’m 7 year old Robbie and I am the happiest boy you may ever meet!

I am a bouncy boy looking for a nice calm home where I can get lots of cuddles. I need someone sensible who is going to be responsible with me and understand my needs.

I am super in the house and behave myself very well. I am house-trained, never destructive and will do what I am told. You can leave me alone for up to 6 hours with the radio on and I will happily take a nap.

I need an adult-only home with no other dogs or cats. I have happily lived with guinea-pigs before. I can have children visiting and have had this in the past provided they are well behaved and don’t make me excited, as I am a bouncy boy.

I wasn’t socialised as a young dog so I find other dogs and new people very exciting. When people visit I am very excited but you can keep me on the lead and I will calm down after a few minutes and just love to get cuddles and pats from them! I have visited my current owner’s friends and family and they all love me because I am such a happy, friendly boy. Busy parks with lots of off-lead dogs and busy public places are not for me.

Big dogs make me nervous so I need plenty of space from them. I am able to say hello to small and medium dogs and have been able to happily go on walks with my friend Reggie the Collie x Spaniel. I get too excited in the house with another dog though. My current owner has been doing training with me to build my confidence and encourage calm behaviours, which my new owner could continue with me. I have definitely shown improvement from the training and love to please my owner.

I can’t ever be let off the lead since I would run off if I saw something interesting, but I walk pretty well on the lead and it is loose most of the time when I am being walked. I am a strong boy so do need someone physically able to manage me if I see something exciting and pull towards it.

If you think you are the person for me, please complete the form here: https://staffierescuescotland.co.uk/adoption-fostering-and-surrendering-a-dog/adoption/
