The ‘Trust’ exercise 💞
Starring the beautiful and intelligent Miss Willow
Willow holds a Drop Cue until released, while adding distance and minor distractions.
Time to start stretching that into a drop at a distance. On her last lesson we started to intro her to this from a Sit (until released).
We took a step back, leaned in, and used her hand signal for drop (no verbal cue). This week we used a ‘barrier’ to encourage her not to move forward. This is her first real lesson. As she was keen and did well repeating last week intro, I added the verbal cue. She’s as a mart as she is beautiful!

I thought I’d share a video of our new additions to the family. After deciding on getting some chickens, I looked into what breed suited our lifestyle.
I decided on Orpingtons. A really lovely breed!
We now have 8 hens and a rooster. After slowly introducing Peyton and Busta to the chooks in their run, we have started training onlead, visiting the flock free-ranging.
