Acupressure is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. It can enhance the well-being in healthy animals as well as complement veterinary care.

Acupressue is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine used to balance the energetic functions of the body --- horses (as well as dogs and cats) bodies in our business! Our aim is to promote health and vitality among all of our horse and small animal clients.

MVAA is back! After a few months away due to illness, I am scheduling acupressure sessions again. Available times are Monday - Saturday, 8:00am through 2:00pm. Prices have changed as well; check out the website under the Services/Fees tab (www.mvequineacupressure.com). Call/text to schedule an appointment. In 2010, my best friend, Diane Wilson, and I were certified in equine acupressure and started Miami Valley Equine Acupressure. Many of you helped get that business off the ground and helped us succeed. Today is Diane's birthday and I'm reminded again of all our times together, both as friends and fellow practitioners. Diane left us way too soon, but she'll always be with us in spirit. Happy birthday, Diane!

The summer heat is on, so a cool morning for acupressure was quite welcome. Liza was relaxed and released a few yawns and stretches to show how much she benefited from her session.

We're seeing some positive results after Peaches had her first acupressure session. She's showing more energy and better mood. Here she is after her second acupressure session. Relaxation helps the body heal. Good job, Peaches!

Peaches loves her mom as you can see from that expression! But she is advancing in years, and a little arthritis is slowing her down. Acupressure can relieve some of the pain and get her back on those walks she enjoys so much. She snoozed through the last half of the session; I believe she liked it!
