How do you keep your pups cool when it’s so hot out?

If you are Lola you have your own personal fan!! Adoptable Lola is a great assistant to her foster mom as she works from home. She makes sure mom stays on task and when it’s time to cool off post some zoomie/ play time, this is HER spot 💜

Lola has such a sad past. She was dumped with her too young puppies and then one by one they were taken away🥲 Her foster mom saw a post…begging for help for another unwanted black dog with no options. You wouldn’t know Lola has been through so much. She’s a happy girl who loves to play with other dogs, is great with kids and is a friend to cats.

There are two things in life Timber loves. Peanut butter and her people...in that order Peanut butter is life!

Single guy needing a ride or die? Timber's your girl! Single lady that loves to walk? Timber will be by your side every step of the way! A couple looking to change the world for a dog? She's got ya!

We believe Timber is a rottweiler mix, she's got a big ol beefy head. She's 6 years old, and over 100 lbs. She's pretty quiet unless she needs to potty or she wants peanut butter. She's great left out of the kennel and is housetrained.

She has been around kids, but truly does NOT know her size. She also prefers to be the only dog, she doesn't like to share her peanut butter or huggies...which means more love and more peanut butter for the two of you!!! No sharing!!

Spoil Your Dog Day with Desi!!🤣💜

Desi’s foster mom may have had a bit of fun with this one and we LOVE it…so did Desi!!

This 7 month old husky mix deserves the pampered life after being on the euthanasia list at a small shelter.

Luckily, her wonderful foster family welcomed her into their loving home and Desi is learning what the influencer life is all about. Need some make-up tips? Desi is your gal! Spa day? She’s in!

Sleepover time!! 🎉

This is Libby! Her foster sister is Lola and they are having a sleepover with Bruce and Ahsoka while their fosters are on vacation. Got all that?

They are going to watch Lassie, sneak dog biscuits and try to figure out how to order pizza with Alexa once the human goes to bed.

Adoptable Bruce’s Tips for Beating the Heat ☀️

1) Be Lazy - must involve AC
2) Watch your foster mom do chores- she needs the supervision
3) Plot ways to get more biscuits as long as it doesn’t involve helping with chores
4) Be Lazy- he can not stress enough how important this is 😂

Gorgeous boy Bruce is dog, kid and cat friendly. He’s an is absolute gem of a dog. He will not help you with chores. Sorry. You are on your own.

He does love to play with his doggie friends a friend to call his own would be the bestest.

💜A Dogust 1st Happy Tail, Koda!!💜

Koda was a smart girl who had a sad background including having litters of puppies who didn’t survive. When her owners were done with her, she ended up in a small shelter with not much time left.

As with all our Happy Tail beginnings…her foster heard her story and couldn’t let her die. Koda was with her foster family for quite some time. She went to events and was posted on our page, but it turns out her forever family was just around the corner. Her foster mom’s parents fell in love with this sweet girl!!

Now, Koda is a country girl and living the good life!

She goes swimming, takes walks daily and loves to ride in the back of truck around her family’s farm! The best part? She still gets to see her best friend, Appa (also a ARF alumni) once a week! They have so much fun playing!!

Koda’s new parents say she’s one of the best dogs they’ve ever had 🥹

Congratulations Koda on finding your perfect home!! Thank you so much to Koda’s fosters for saving her and to her adopters’ for giving her the amazing life she deserves!!

Since a rescue dog’s actual birthday is unknown, Dogust 1st was created to ensure all rescue pups have a day on the calendar to celebrate.
