Update 11/11/23 ADOPTED!!!!

My name is Cupcake I am homeless because my owner died on Monday. She adopted me from Adopt an Angel back in 2017 after they had rescued me before hurricane Matthew came to town. They went to the Pender Shelter and snagged a van full of animals to open up space for potential storm victims. I was in that video they took that day. Last week, I came back to them in hopes that my owner’s health would improve and she could get me back. The hospital staff said I was the only thing keeping her alive, but that was not God’s will I guess. She left a note on my vet history that if anything happened to her to call Jill and they did. So here I am. Now, I am an 11-12 year old grey muzzled pit bull looking for a new owner who can fill my old owner’s shoes. I need someone home a lot because she spoiled me. I am housebroken, well mannered and have a lot of pep in my step for my age. I seem to do well with other animals, but I have never actually lived with them before. If you would like to adopt a very healthy, happy, senior dog like me give that Jill a call at 910-620-3783. She seems to pop in and out of my life at all the right times.

Hello, everybody.

There’s no easy way to say this, but the day we all wished would never come has arrived. Esther has passed away. She was calm and peaceful, and fell asleep with her dad Steve by her side.

While we understand many of you will have questions, and we will have the answers for you , but we are going to take a little break to process the situation.

Even though Esther is no longer physically with us, her memory and legacy will live forever. Esther is immortal, and we will continue to show the world that all animals deserve to be loved just like she was.

Sending love and happy thoughts to each and every one of you. We know you all loved her just as much as we did, and we thank you for that.

Xoxoxox.

We wanted to share a little bit about Bullies 2 the Rescue.

Behind the scenes

1st, you can rest assured EVERY👏SINGLE👏DONATION goes to the dogs. EVERY single penny, we do not have a single person on any payroll. Every foster, every volunteer, every person involved with the rescue works for the dogs.

There are no titles, we are all equals.

We're a 501c3 non profit and all your donations are tax deductible! Just FYI, not all 501c3 are volunteer based. Some do take salaries (even large ones) so do your research. Ask them! Know where your money goes!

Our foster families do get the first opportunity to adopt. We believe in the amazing families and their commitment to rescuing, rehabilitating, and their bond with the rescues. BUT, again they also pay the adoption fees. They know the amount of money it takes to feed, give medical care, and spay/neuter/microchip the bulls.

Again EVERY.SINGLE.PENNY goes to the dogs

We know we aren't the typical rescue in this capacity. But know with every ounce of confidence where your hard earned support goes.

There's no board, no paid employees. Just a group of people who love bulldogs and have the same passion for saving everyone we can.

At Bullies 2 the rescue we cover food, and believe in high quality nutrition. There's no Old Roy (sorry not sorry old Roy) here, we firmly believe in healing from the gut. We cover supplements, medical, leashes, harnesses and much more.

Having foster homes all over the East Coast means shipping costs for foster boxes (includes all the things listed above). Multiple vet bills from all over with our approved Veterinarian offices. We have special needs dogs, check them out over at Bullies 2 the Rescue Special Needs who need prosthetics, wheelchairs, diapers...

We wanted to share some transparency with our new and old followers💗

Here, it's all about the bulls

We love you guys!!
