🐾 Exciting News! 🐾

I’m thrilled to share that Staycation Pet Care has been selected as a finalist in the 2025 Big Idea North Platte competition! 🎉

What began as my dream to provide personalized, in-home pet sitting has grown into the vision of a boutique pet retreat — a home-style space offering 24/7 individualized care, comfort, and enrichment for pets while their families are away.

The live pitch event is October 29th at Venue 304 (social at 5:00 PM, event at 6:00 PM). It’s free to attend, and audience votes help decide the winners — so if you’re nearby, I’d love your support! 🏆

Thank you to everyone who’s cheered me on and believed in this dream. Staycation Pet Care is just getting started, and I’m so excited to keep raising the standard for pet care in North Platte. 💛

Gwen Staci, Pearl, and I ventured out today for our weekly Staycation meet-up, and what an adventure it was! 🐾💛

I was so excited to spot a nearby garage sale, but the rough grass meant sweet Pearl needed a little extra TLC—so she got the royal treatment and a carry across. 👑🐶 Once we arrived, Miss Gwen Staci couldn’t contain herself—she wanted ALL the loves from everyone in sight. 💕

We had an absolute blast today, and I can’t wait for many more days like this with these girls! 🥰

🐾✨ What an incredible day at the 2025 Doggy Dash! ✨🐾

I had the honor of being a sponsor this year, and it was the BEST day. My faithful friend, Dobby, joined my sister and me for the 1-mile family run (let’s be honest—I am not a runner 😅).

It was also the first time debuting my brand-new Staycation banner, and of course the real celebrity—Miss Dobby herself—was there in person for photos. 📸💛 She even kept us laughing all the way to the finish line, proudly carrying a stick and insisting I throw it… which would’ve ended with me being dragged across the line! 😂

Huge thanks to Community Connections for putting on such a fun and meaningful event. I’m grateful Staycation Pet Care could be part of supporting this community tradition. 🐶🏃‍♀️🌟

🐾✨ Shoutout time for two amazing fellow animal lovers and groomers— Jaylee Bonta & Brooke Hilt at Good Dog Spas! ✨🐾

Not only do I trust them with my own pets’ grooming, but I’m also honored to be their trusted pet sitter. And let me tell you—they have the most adorable pack of animals ever. 💛 Talk about pups living their best life with pawrents who are also talented groomers!

At our very first meet & greet, their crew greeted me with the most colorful, creative dye jobs I had ever seen—total showstoppers. 🎨🐶

I highly recommend Jaylee and Brooke because I know firsthand that pets are their passion, just as much as mine. If you’re looking for groomers who will treat your furry family like royalty, they’re the ones!

I had the absolute pleasure of spending time with all of these sweethearts. 🐾💛

Working dogs will always amaze me—their unspoken communication, their loyalty, their purpose. It’s truly something special to witness. We played fetch, they took turns cooling off in the water tank, and soaked up every moment of their Staycation.

Even the hardest-working farm dogs (and cats!) need love and companionship when their pawrents are away—and I’m honored to be their trusted stand-in.
