If you have been to the dog park recently, you have seen some of the improvements we are working on, in partnership with the Town of Manchester! New wood chips have been delivered and a beautiful concrete pad has been laid on the entrance way. Special thanks to Dog Park Chair, Ted, for all of his work on this project!

Manchester Dog Owners: Our town needs your help!
As people are getting out more with their dogs, Manchester's trails and parks have seen an alarmingly high number of dog excrement improperly disposed of along our trails.
Remember, as dog owners, it is our responsibility to bag and remove our dog's waste while we are out walking. Bag it and bring it with you!
The attached photos were taken in the last few weeks, on various parks and trails in Manchester. Let's do our part to keep Manchester clean!

Stay safe, Manchester. Let’s make sure we are staying informed with accurate information and taking care of ourselves and loved ones. Follow the link to see updates from The Town of Manchester.

📢Update from The Town of . The Town of Manchester is actively monitoring the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) along with the CDC, State of Connecticut, and other local health departments. The Town has taken inventory of potentially necessary supplies and participates in frequent calls with the state and other health authorities.

Given the state’s recommendation to cancel or postpone large public events, the Town, in consultation with the Director of Health and Emergency Management team, will make these determinations on a case-by-case basis.

While there have been no confirmed cases of the Coronavirus in Manchester, two Connecticut residents have tested positive, along with two others who work in the state. Nationally, more than 1,000 people have been infected with the disease, according to Johns Hopkins University, resulting in about 30 deaths. More positive tests are expected as the state expands testing efforts. As a reminder, it’s always important to stay home when you’re sick to prevent spreading illness to others.

In addition, everyone is encouraged to follow the CDC and CT Department of Public Health guidance to take everyday preventative actions to help stop the spread of germs:

• Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are not available, use alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
• Stay home when you are sick.
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash.
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.

Please feed a grain contaning quality diet or if for some medical reason is warranted a grain free diet either way backed by food trials such as purina proplan, royal canin or science hills. When backed by food trials it ensures the right nutritional values and supplimental ingredients that are in place of the grain. Email me at [email protected] to learn more.
