I’m pretty proud of the “Dudes” we have here at the farm. I’m a bit of a buck hoarder.. 7 currently live here but how can I get rid of such amazing genetics?!

Here’s one of our special fellas! This is *B Mighty Pine Fortunate Future ai “Marty”. We won’t be breeding many girls this year but Marty was thrilled to spend some time with a couple Does going to new homes soon.

Farm work gives a whole new meaning to team work. This farm wouldn’t work without working together. I’m proud to say we each do it all. There isn’t one task that someone owns. There isn’t one thing that one of us can’t do. We all do it together or we learn together.

We all manage the animals
We all clean the house
We all do the dishes and laundry
We all work on the vehicles
We all care for the lawn
We all work in the garden
We all prepare the food
We all milk the goats and cows
We all gather the firewood
We all mend the fence

We all thank God for our many blessings and for everything we get to do TOGETHER

I’m so proud of my husband and our dogs! They’ve worked so hard to get to this point and totally rocked it today! What an awesome start to our Anatolian team!! AND these girls are excellent guardians for our goats full time! LOVE these dogs ❤️

BrandR is a male from our last Anatolian litter. He’s 7 months old and guarding goats for my Mother’s herd. I’m extremely happy with all of the pups from this cross! He’s 86 lbs and still has lots of growing to do 🙂

One of the Anatolian males from our last litter. "BrandR" currently guards my Mother's herd of Toggenburg goats and loves it! I guess occasionally acquiring the vegan lifestyle is just a perk to guarding goats lol! 😂

Our Story

Mighty Pine Acres is a small farm located in the beautiful valley of Rice in North Eastern Washington State. Together, Shawn, Taylor and their three children care for all of their critters large and small. *Breeds and trains The Kentry Draft Horse (versatile work horse). *Breeds, milks and shows The American Alpine Goat and Experimental heavy milk lines. *Breeds and trains The Anatolian Shepherd for reliable livestock guardians and sled/skijoring dogs.
