Sorry for being MIA! I had a bad cold on top of bad allergies on top of the hubs being on a work trip 😅 in addition to that we’re in a time crunch to get our new home build finished. It’s a little crazy around here 🙃
These two are SO STINKING CUTE!!!! Tiny little balls of fluff 😍 I don’t have information on the website yet so you can message me for more details but it looks like the chocolate female has double blues and the boy is currently bi-eyed. I estimate they will both be in the 12-20lbs range as adults and very fluffy! 😍 the little boy loves to kiss noses 😚 www.patriotpomskies.com

It is with a broken heart that I share that Willow’s sweet little fighter has passed 💔 for 16 days she had around the clock care. Despite all efforts, which were many, she didn’t grow and then rapidly declined. The vet concluded she must have had something not right on her insides that couldn’t be diagnosed. Thank you all for your love and support ❤️

She’s still hanging in there! 😰as you can see she is way smaller then her siblings at this point, she’s a whopping 6.6 oz 😰 we are hoping to see some weight gain in the next 24 hours as we are literally doing everything possible. She has to have assistance to nurse on mom and we are supplementing with tube feeding as she refuses to take a bottle. The vet can’t determine anything that appears physically wrong with her she is just a weak nurser and needs to get bigger and stronger but she’s just not wanting to put on weight 😫 she’s a little fighter though!

The last 4.5 days have been a doozy 🤯 Started with Willow going into labor and having her 3 puppies on Saturday. It quickly became apparent that her smallest little girl is unable to get latched herself and stay latched to nurse and was losing weight. She’s now on round the clock feedings and is the first puppy I have ever needed to do this for. Then came Sunday and River went into labor, everything seemed completely normal when she suddenly started leaking excessive amounts of green fluid, in the breeder world seeing green fluid before the first puppy is born is very concerning. After it became apparent she had no intentions of pushing this puppy out anytime soon I called the after hours service to our Vet as Sundays are the only day they are closed 🙃 thankfully the vet called me back quickly and told me to bring her straight in for an emergency c section. We were prepared for the worst and the vet made sure that we were aware that it was highly unlikely that the puppy the green was coming from would survive.
We are so happy to say that this feisty little leprechaun came out screaming and green as can be. The vet called him a miracle puppy and she didn’t know how he was hanging on with almost 100% of the placenta detached and he was transverse to the canal 🤯 we are so thankful he is alive and healthy and for such an incredible vet team. As soon as I can catch my grips over here I’ll post updated pictures and information on everyone. Say prayers for Willow’s little lady that she puts on weight and gets strong enough to nurse from mama on her own! 🥺 www.patriotpomskies.com
