Alberta Cocker Rescue will be hosting an auction table at BRCA Camrose spring show March 22, 23 & 24th.
If you have an item to donate towards the ACR auction that would be greatly appreciated.
Arrangements can be made for pickup within a reasonable distance or drop off at CRE in Camrose Thursday or Friday on the 21st or 22nd.
If you have an item please let me know!!

Congratulations Stout - Rachris Wick’d Pint O’BlkN’Tan (Sire to three Rachris litters, AKA, the Stout Sprouts)

Mr Stout earned two “Best of Breed - American Cocker Spaniel” for 2023 in NASDA (North American Sport Dog Association) awards AND TWO Invitations to the 2024 NASDA Invitationals in June in Millarville, AB in June!

🔹 # 5 American Cocker Spaniel in Trailing & Locating 1
🔹 #3 American Cocker Spaniel in Urban Locating 1

Stout also earned his Urban Locating Level 1 title and his Trailing & Locating Level 1 titles in early September of 2023!

Most colours also match the colours that PerfectFit Harness offers, which one of main harnesses we recommend to our Rachris Cocker owners!

This works very well as a maintenance ear cleaner.
This used to be made with Gentian Violet but they stopped production of it in Canada.
Homemade dog ear cleaner made from apple cider vinegar, boric acid, witch hazel & water to clean the dog’s ears and help maintain a healthy pH.
Pour ¼ cup water and ¼ cup apple cider vinegar into a container. Add 1 tablespoon of witch hazel and 2 tablespoons of boric acid to the water and vinegar and shake well.
Poor into smaller bottle with a bottle similar to hair color bottle with the tapered twist closing
Lid.
Fill the ear canal very well then massage the solution well into canal placing ear flaps over canals. Massage the heck out them at the top of ears that attaches at the head.
Always shake well before using.
Take a clean cotton ball after massaging solution in ear and whipe out xcess fluid and any debris.

Here’s another fun Santa photo from Megan’s Cocker Crew in New Brunswick, who is also part of the Rachris family!
Four out of five of Megan’s Cocker Spaniels are from Rachris!
Her two sables (Chani & Seffa); her black & tan boy, Leonard and her chocolate & tan Lulu are all from Rachris and her little Izzy fits in well with the whole pack!

In honour of Carmen, who loved Christmas, a group of Rachris owners got a group Santa photo of eight Rachris Cockers in the Edmonton area!
It represented, 3 generations and 3 lines of Rachris Cockers!

We’d love to have any other Rachris families to share their Christmas photos of there Cockers in honour of Carmen’s memory!

Last puppy of Carmen's has been delivered to it's most outstanding home.
Everyone that has gotten a puppy or adult cocker are the most wonderful homes we could have asked for.
Everyone has a connection to us from the past or recently, makes this so much easier to say good bye & have happy lives!! Although I did have a few meltdowns when it was time for Roe to meet up with the adult dogs new homes!!
McKenzie leaves Saturday for Saskatoon!!

As most everyone is now aware it is with great sadness that we announce Carmen (Rachris Cockers) has passed away.
Her heart and soul revolved around her family & dogs.
The dogs & puppies were always raised in the house under foot. She wouldn't have it any other way.
Carmen showed many of her dogs to their Canadian Championship and several making the trip down south to achieve their American Championships.
She has sold dogs to absolutely amazing performance homes that achieved so many accolades. So many proud moments.
At her request there will be no service.
I have always loved this picture of Carmen & Sterling. Ch Deserenes Glory Bound.
The day I brought him to Carmen as an 8 week old baby it was love at first sight!!
