Trigger and Kaia didn't catch their treats before me. Trigger was a quick study, but Kaia took a bit of practice, but she got it. They loved my leftover French fries. This is my last video of them together before Kaia became very ill and passed fairly quickly after. I'm doing my first overnight with just Trigger next month. It's going to seem quite strange without Kaia there. She had been a part of my life since 2018 and was like family. I hope Kaia is getting French fries in heaven!!
To the dads who provide and help maintain a home, work hard to feed their family, keep them safe from harm, and teach them what they will need to know to go out on their own into the world and succeed…
Happy Father’s Day!
…and Thank You [from The “Graduating” Class of 2024]
This Say’s Phoebe brood hatched approximately May 15, demanding attention from May 28, first fledging June 11, final fledging June 13. Say’s Phoebes are members of the flycatcher family, so-named by Charles Bonaparte - nephew of Napoleon - after American naturalist, William Say, their first identifier. Their diet is almost exclusively insects caught literally on the fly! (Story and photographs in video compliments of Rg.)
The "Dynamic Duo" stopped for a Coca-Cola Slurpee to quench our thirst on this 93° humpday and to refuel our vehicles!! We both LOVE Coca-Cola. I'm a Classic Coke gal, and Halley is a Cherry Coke gal. We're both super excited about their solid #1 spot they hold!! I've loved Coca-Cola all the way back to my youth and then carried on with my 10 year career and beyond. Halley comes from Georgia, so of course she loves Coca-Cola!! She's on the right team!! Shout out to my former team in Omaha at Chesterman Co. Coca-Cola, keep up the good work!!
Maxie says, "Thank goodness Friday is here, I can taste it!!"
What a crazy windy day with the pooches. Winds gusting up to 50 mph. After this huge gust with Lucy and Jazz, we got our booties back to their house and hung out in the backyard where the wind was blocked. Lucy and Jazz were very pleased with my decision.
Beautiful 72° day but terribly windy. I thought Twiggy was going to blow away. Red flag warning for the weekend!!
Happy Easter from all the RMPS Peeps to yours!! The Easter Bunny hopped right on over to Winston's house this morning and left him 2 dozen eggs and the best Easter basket ever!! Winston had a blast on his Easter egg hunt. Check out the fun video.
Springing forward with Bruce and Wallace!! They don't care we lost an hour. They love the extra hour of daylight in the evening and the treats they're getting for shooting this video. I know I can always count on these 2 to fulfill my vision!!
Dizzie was telling me today and every other dog...
DIZZIE - It's 25° feels like 11° and the wind is gusting over 40 mph at times, remind me again, why are we out here?
ME - Because your mom requested me to come over today. Let's get business done quickly!
DIZZIE - Let me lead the way home!
Even guinea pigs like to be brushed. Nibbles enjoys his brushing time while he's having his yummy veggies.

Every year I ask my clients to share pictures of their pets celebrating the holiday with their families. It's so fun to see them with their new gifts and enjoying all the festivites. Here's what they shares with me this year. Thank you for letting me in on your holiday celebration!!
Seasons greetings from the RMPS Tribe!! May you have the merriest of holidays. We're wishing you much happiness this holiday season!!
Merry Christmas Eve!! Lucy and Jazz were super excited to watch Santa start his journey of delivering presents. I'm sure you were all nice this year and have tons of gifts coming your way. Remember the reason for the season regardless of your specific celebration at your home!!
What a crazy day today with the wind. Thankful for the sun and warmer temperatures with the 30mph winds and crazy gusts. Boz and Leo didn't seem to mind. They just love to be outside and go for a walk. I truly thought we were going to end up in Kansas!!
Winston always runs and springs off the patio each time he's let into the backyard and then races from side to side. I giggle each time I let him out. Sometimes he flies higer and leaps further. He's one happy dog with a ton of energy!!
Oreo loves to do cat yoga on each of my visits. I don't know all the proper yoga poses, but I thinking this might be the upward cat pose. Whatever it is, Oreo is very flexible.
There are many pet TV shows for dogs and cats to keep them company while you're away from home. Specifically for dogs, pet TV helps them overcome agitation. It can help your dog become more acquainted with different stimuli, which makes them less likely to react in an anxious or startled way. If your dog or cat has separate anxiety, you might find that pet TV shows help to give them something to focus on so they are less anxious. Daisy is an anxious girl and is enjoying her time watching the birds on this particular dog TV channel. Many think it would be very relaxing and peaceful to leave your pet in a home that's completely free of all noises. In fact, the opposite really happens. When your pets are used to some type of noise throughout the day, having it completely quite is very stressful. At a minimum, play some soft music. Studies show that classical music is the best. It helps slow their breathing, and they are less likely to pace around or remain standing. Music can be used to help reduce anxiety, calm hyperactive behavior, and even help them heal faster when they are injured or ill. By stimulating their auditory senses with music, we can greatly enhance the quality of life for our pets. I know we all want them to live longer. So make sure you're playing music for your fur babies.
