Lots of us don’t post the warm up, cuddles and care before and after training our beautiful horses, probably because it wouldn’t get many views.. but we still do it!
I thought I would post it today, after being on the receiving end of nasty comments. Luckily I am very hardened to it now, and I really don’t lose any sleep! Like most other riders, I do everything possible to keep my horses, fit, healthy and happy! 💕
But wouldn’t it be great if, instead of typing your criticism, you had to post a video of yourself doing it better…. Maybe that would stop those keyboard warriors! 💭

I always wash his body, and whilst he is drying off under the solarium I scrub his tail. He then stays warm and starts to dry! 💗

There’s double trouble! 🤩
If you follow my updates on stories you will have seen this week Paloma graduated from nursery and has started at big school! 🎓
So far she has taken really well to accepting having a bit and bridle on and enjoyed the treats and scratches for being so clever!
She is so like Comet it’s unbelievable!
She’s been introduced to the arena and seeing her reflection in the mirrors was extremely exciting! ☄️
Personal space isn’t her strong point, so learning to step backwards when asked and moving away is the starting point!
Next she’ll learn how to move forwards from my voice commands and all about the start groundwork!
I absolutely love this part of training horses. They’re so intelligent, accepting and inquisitive it is just such an amazingly rewarding process and when you really start to develop and special relationship with them!
I’ll do a weekly update on Paloma, and her training! She is only 3 yrs so we will be taking everything at her pace! I’m in no hurry! 🥰
