Why WoW?

It is a modular saddle, meaning each and every part, is adjustable for the perfect fit, for horse and rider. From custom saddle flaps and seat to help maintain the perfect balanced position, changing the panels, girthing and even the smallest air adjustment to help improve your horses way of going.
Every horse and rider combo is different, which can make saddle fitting tricky to get the perfect fit for all. This is how WoW saddles can help take the stress away from finding the perfect combination for both horse and rider!

🐴The best performing tree on the market. Designed to remove shoulder restriction giving the horse greater comfort and allowing more natural, longer strides
🐴 No tree points to create pressure points and restriction
🐴The option of Flair known to provide the flexibility to allow the horse’s muscle to move unrestricted and enabling the fitter to balance the saddle front to back and side to side- something no other product can do. Indeed, recent research shows how horses change in back curvature when in motion and Flair is the only product that allows for this.
🐴No other brand offers a means within the seat – the patented paddle - to adjust the rider’s weight distribution as WoW does.
🐴 WoW has interchangeable panels and headplates which come in differing style and angles enabling changes to be made as the horse changes shape due to work, age and condition.

Clipping

Why do we clip?

There are many reasons why we choose to clip our horses, and sometimes that reason is simpley because it looks smart, and makes our life easier when dealing with the wet and cold months ahead.

But here are some reason why we might decide that clipping is the right thing for you and your horse.

🐴Temperature regulation: Clipping reduces sweating and helps horses cool off and dry more quickly. This prevents horses from getting a chill, especially in the winter.

🐴Coat management: Clipping can help with the following:
Winter coats: Horses grow thick winter coats to keep warm, but they can overheat while exercising. Clipping helps prevent this.

🐴Cushing's Disease: Horses with Cushing's Disease have a hard time shedding their winter coats, so clipping can help, and make them feel much more comfortable.

🐴Feather management: Clipping can help with mud fever, mites, and Chronic Progressive Lymphoedema (CPL).

🐴Weight management: Clipping can help overweight horses lose weight.

🐴Tack rubbing: Clipping can help prevent tack from rubbing.

🐴Grooming time: Clipping can reduce the amount of time spent grooming.

🐴Coat growth: Clipping can encourage a horse's coat to grow back thicker and glossier in the summer.

Longreining

An dying art......

In my years of training horses, the most Important skill I've learnt over the years, is the art of longreining, but not just walking them around on the end of a line, but working them In a rehabilitative way, teaching them to take the contact down and forward that teaches them to lift up through their backs and start to use their core without having to worry about the weight of a rider or consistently putting strain on the joints on a ever ending circle.

Longreining, allows you to "ride the horse" from the ground, in a therapeutic and healing way, that lunging can not do.

What longreining can do to help your horse

🐴Helps to build top line
🐴To strengthen the back and hind quarters
🐴Great way to bring a horse back into work after injury
🐴Great way to start young horses and build some strength and straightness before backing, while also teaching them about the contact and aids before we get on.
🐴Therapeutic for the horse and the best Physiotherapy we can give them in between physio treatments.
