Happy Kitten Tails to our adorable Toad! This cutie was rescued as a stray with a nasty URI, intestinal parasites and battling anemia. Fast forward a few weeks and he is good as new, fully vetted and today, joined his most purrfect family! He has joined such a loving home complete with a new kitty sister named Angel, human kiddos to grow up with and human parents who are already spoiling him rotten! He is sure to fill his home with so much love and laughter! He has been such a joy to raise with his loud purrs, silly personality and loving demeanor! Fostering and Adoption Saves deserving, local lives, like Toad and is the gift of life! We are thrilled this boy has found his forever, just in time for the Holidays! Wishing him and his awesome new family so much love and joy! 🐾

🔮Little Wizard had his eye debridement on Monday for his corneal ulcers and he is doing fantastic!

❤️‍🩹He's been on aggressive eye treatments and they're working! His eyes are clearing up and his vision is not affected. We are expecting a full and complete recovery. 🥰

😍He is feeling great and playing like nothing has happened. His 4th dewprming also did the trick for that anemia. Look at that pink nose!!🩷

🐱Kittens are so resilient! Thank you to his foster mama, his vet team, and everyone who donated to his care!

🤪Oh.. And he doesn't look for mischief it finds him. Or so he tells us.

🖤🤍This fluffy tuxie boy will be available at the end of the month. He's a cutie and just too sweet! Fostering saves lives!

❣️Senior Boy Looking for Love❣️
💫Meet Cooper! He wants a home!
💕This little guy is a 12 pound cockapoo...and he is 1️⃣6️⃣ years young!

🐕Cooper came to us as an owner surrender in which, the circumstances were in fact extenuating, and we were happy to help!

🐕He needed the works. And he got the works! And he is now fully vetted and in really good health for his age!

🐶He is the perfect companion and has a LOT of life left to live.

🔵Here are the details:
➡️Cooper is SUPER loving & snuggly. He is amazing with people, cats, dogs and kiddos!

✅️We have neutered him. Brought him up to date on all vaccines (rabies, bordetella, lepto, DHPP) he is microchipped. He has been dewormed and had a clean f***l. He has had a full dental. He has been groomed. He is flea free. And we did a full senior blood panel workup where his panel was normal! He is a wonder dog!

🧐Cooper does have some trouble hearing & seeing- age related but doesn't stop him.

❤️‍🩹Cooper also had a cancerous mass on his, ahem, private area, that was removed and biopsied. While it was cancerous, it has not spread and we suspect won't be an issue in the future, but want to disclose.

💕Cooper is not a hospice dog as he is not terminal, suffering or sick. He is just a happy, loving, senior guy looking for a home to spend his golden years with!

✅️Cooper loves to be on the couch (and in bed, and yes. He still jumps up!) He is crate trained and loves his naps in there. He is house trained. He rides great in a car. He sleeps through the night (10pm-7am!) He is perfect!

🥰Please consider this best boy! He deserves it and is the best pup!!! We simply adore him. Seniors rock!

⭐️Churro was born around May 1, 2024 He is a small breed chimix. He is so sweet & gentle, smart, loving, and great with small and large dogs. ✅️Cat and kid friendly too!

✅️Fully vetted. Crate trained. Doing well on a schedule with house training. He is just the best boy! He loves toys and beds. He's a lovebug & a lap dog. He bonds very deeply.

Churro is a puppy still and very playful and still in a chewing phase. He loves to cuddle too! Puppy things! He is so silly & fun!

💙He would love a doggy friend in his forever home that is playful!

⭐️Bingo was born around March 1, 2025. He is a small breed JRTmix. He is so sweet & active, smart, loving, and great with small dogs. He loves to play. High energy but very snuggly! Currently likes to dog in his foster yard. Puppy things! 🤦‍♀️🙃

✅️Kid friendly and ok with cats, they are fun to chase! 🤦‍♀️

✅️Fully vetted. (Neutered, microchipped with lifetime registration, received all of his vaccines for the year (DHPP, Rabies, Bordetella) dewormed, flea free, HW negative & UTD on prevention. ✅️Partially crate trained.
✅️Doing well on a schedule with house training.

Welcome to FishHawk TNR, Inc. Your local 501c3 non-profit animal rescue! Where all that we do, is for the animals!

We are a foster based rescue serving the FishHawk Ranch, Riverview, Valrico, Bloomingdale and Apollo Beach areas. All of our animals are fully vetted prior to leaving our rescue and all adoptions are delivered for a home check. Our process includes an application, playdate, home check and fee collected at the time of adoption. We are never first come first served and we prefer applicants to live within an hour of the areas that we serve. We strive to educate adopters on their very best match for a new pet and as such, all applicants will not be automatically approved. We never offer on the spot adoptions. We will continue to rescue animals with a committed crew of volunteers and foster families and adopt them into forever homes, until we are no longer needed. Thank you for stopping by!
