Sparkle The Therapy Dog with Wags for Hope was giving a special honor from them, for all her hard work.

Way to go Sparkle!!

We would like to carry on the tradition of honoring a special therapy dog team. This year, Wags for Hope would like to recognize Team Sparkle! You may recognize Sparkle as the adorable black and white Chihuahua donning a tutu and well-manicured nails. As a team they have been proactive throughout the year in advancing Wags for Hope in Frederick County. Kristi has been able to find new events for us, and they also are on the lookout for fun and delicious fundraisers. Stay tuned for further updates this spring!

We had two Literacy Nights!!! Wednesday night Sparkle attended Walkersville Elementary and Thursday night she was at Lewistown Elementary School (Maryland).

The kids were surprised to see Sparkle ✨️

Project Christine provides peer support to parents and families grieving the death of a child and is open to parents and children in grades K-12.

For parents, Partners for Success offers individual consultation, an information and referral service, problem-solving assistance, training and supports. For educators, the program provides information about disabilities and support for making accommodations for students with special needs.

Wags For Hope was invited to the Johnsville Ruritan Club this Evening. Sparkle The Therapy Dog was happy to meet all the members. She was able to discuss all the great things the volunteers and Therapy Dogs with Wags For Hope do for the Frederick County Community.

Unfortunately, the member that requested us was unable to attend. Sparkle The Therapy Dog sends Ms. Opal well wishes! Hopefully we can visit again once she return back.
