Not the typical trophy that is hung on a wall - forever frozen in time - staring, stiff and untouchable. Our studio is responsible for a much different sort of curio indeed -
SOFT SCULPTURE TAXIDERMY. This is a form of taxidermy in which the head of a fur pelt is mounted over a traditional lightweight taxidermy form, using high quality glass eyes, clay, and fabric ear liners to rebuild the facial
features of the animal. Unlike traditional taxidermy, the body is not glued over a rigid form, but instead carefully shaped and stuffed with fluffy poly-fill. The result is a moveable, pose-able, totable, cuddly creature that can go anywhere - and be displayed anywhere- as part of room decor, a costume prop, or educational display. Unique in it’s versatility, and ability to adapt - like a real living creature would.

Little 🖤derpy🖤 reject fox. Heavily discoun.ted! This little juvenile cross fox pelt was absolutely gorgeous! Unfortuately, her leather was so thin that she completely fell apart on me. :( I was faced with throwing her out and starting over with a fresh pelt; or trying my best to salvage her. I chose the latter and this was the end result! She came out okay, albeit a replacement paw and a LOT of stitching and glue.
The good news, is that she is a nice fresh tan and should still last a long time on a shelf or a curio cabinet. She will hold up to gentle posing and cuddling. She is weighted, with a partial armature and pretty yellow glass eyes.

Hiked a small portion of the Pacific Crest Trail near Odell Lake, with this very special and rare northern Montana tricolor coyote. 😍🧡🖤🤍

This fox has a thick, fluffy coat in beautiful pale gray/beige tones with spotted feet! He has been soft garment tanned by Moyle so he smells like fresh leather and will last many, many years to come! Featuring a partial armature, he poses nicely but is still soft, floppy and snuggly. Also weighted, to double as a perfect anxiety relief buddy. ❤️

This STUNNING extra, extra heavy winter furred coyote is from Northern Montana. He is absolutely gorgeous 🥰😍🐺 and has the most incredible mane and equally striking pale markings. His coloring is perfection and he looks like he was pulled straight from a Yellowstone nature documentary! 🏞
This one is weighted, with a partial armature. He poses nicely in a laying position but is also soft and floppy. He has also been mounted with one of my LAST sets of yellow glass eyes by Tohickon. This is an extra special coyote!

Two nice, fluffy Wyoming raccoons, both are weighted and floppy with partial armatures. (Their legs and tail are posable and they can hold their head up!) The bigger raccoon has brown eyes, and his smaller friend has shiny black eyes.😍 Both are being dis.counted due to very minor flaws. Which is your favorite? 🥺

A beautiful black and tan (tricolor?) coyote that I just finished up. This one is interesting because the fur quality is that of a heavy western type coyote - extremely thick and plush - but this color variation is more commonly seen on Northeastern coyotes.
There will most definitely be more photos to come!
A beautiful collicott marble fox, headed home to a very excited customer! This is a rare and unique colored fox and he paired so nicely with a set of yellow hand painted eyes by Tohickon. 🖤

Traditional soft sculpted Eastern coyote, ready to ship back home. 🖤🧡💛🐺🍂
This coyote has a custom carved head form, bright yellow eyes by Tohickon and a soft floppy body (No wiring). If you look close; you will notice that this client has requested a couple snaggleteeth for their mount! (Real coyote canine teeth!!) AND as an added bonus, this coyote has rear dewclaws! This is not a super common feature for coyotes.
