Riley in Plymouth, MA

Riley is an eight-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel born 9/29/2017. This handsome boy has a heart as big as his floppy ears. Riley came to rescue when his owner’s health declined and she could no longer care for him. This gentle boy is as sweet as can be and loves nothing more than spending quiet time with his people. He has proven himself as a wonderful companion and friend.

Riley is lowkey, easygoing, and the perfect choice if you’re looking for a calm, loving friend to share your days with. Since he is very attached to his person, he would do best with a family where someone is home most of the time. He is great with kids and other dogs. He has not been tested around cats. His happy place has a generous supply of treats and a comfy spot where he can be with his person and snooze throughout the day. Riley walks fairly well on a leash and enjoys short walks. While a fenced yard is not required, it would be a welcome change for him.

In general, Riley’s health is good. At eight years old he is heart clear and is up-to-date on immunizations and preventatives. He weighs 25 lbs. While in rescue he will have a dental cleaning with some possible extractions. Riley does have a seizure disorder though and experiences 4-6 seizures, on average, each year. He has been seen by a neurologist who feels that they are most likely due to epilepsy. Thankfully, his seizures are well managed with daily medication.

Nous recherchons des adoptants pour Orphée, 6 ans, qui se trouve à 30 minutes de Metz.

💊Orphée 🐶 prend un traitement pour l’épilepsie : une boîte de Phenoleptil 100mg coûte environ 70 € et dure 1 mois et demi. Elle prend 3/4 de comprimé matin et soir, dans un peu de fromage.

♥️Côté santé : aucun problème cardiaque. Orphée n’est pas stérilisée. Elle est à jour de ses vaccins.

❌Pour la solitude : elle sait rester seule pendant une journée de travail. Cependant, quand cela devient trop long ou que sa routine est perturbée, elle manifeste son stress (parfois en faisant ses besoins à l’intérieur). Cela reste pour elle une façon d’exprimer qu’elle a besoin de plus d’attention.

‼️Orphée a énormément besoin de stabilité, de repères, et sans doute d’une présence plus régulière. Elle est très attachante et proche de l’humain, et sa propriétaire souhaite vraiment qu’elle trouve un foyer qui saura lui offrir ce cadre rassurant.
