Facebook is cracking down on any pages that are sharing their little ones including ours. With that being said absolutely NO 🚫 questions on ANY posts and that will include the pretty photos we post. Apparently they are picking up on even emojis being used and being a true PIA(use your imagination) 🤬. We will from now on only post cute and adorable photos and should anyone have any questions please do that so PRIVATELY!!!!

In the event that Loop Creek Dachshund's is removed by Facebook this will be our backup page. This page will remain in Billy's profile with the OG account remaining in mine. If Facebook removes Loop Creek OG we may lose our FamilyPack too. If this happens I will create another private Facebook group for my puppy parents (FamilyPack 2.0). Currently Loop Creek and my profile are under restrictions until August of 2025. I very likely could lose my original business page and all.that content along with losing my FamilyPack and myself.

Please, like and follow this backup page so we don't lose each other!!!

The Facebook police are out hot and heavy to pull legitimate Breeder’s pages down. Please, make sure to follow us on TikTok and Instagram. I don’t post much on Instagram but I do post more frequently on my TikTok.
I don’t know if Loop Creek on Facebook will survive this or not. If my page is taken down you can reach me on my Good Dog account or TikTok. They’re going back years and flagging videos.

My boys are the heart ♥️ of my breeding program! The way Lennox is looking 👀 at me in the photo ⬇️…you know he loves his momma! You’d think 💭 I was a steak 🥩 by the way he stares at me!✨Rolo and Indy are momma boys through and through!

💁🏻‍♀️ “Let’s Talk Parvo Awareness”:
Educational Post #2 on topic of Parvo🦠

I always administer a Neopar Parvo Only vaccine at 5 weeks. This vaccine is the only vaccine that works with high maternal antibodies present boosting the puppies immunity against Parvovirus. There is nothing else in this vaccine other than Parvo. Your puppy received its 1st combination vaccine at its wellness exam. That is the 1st vaccine of the puppy series that is needed to protect your puppy. You must continue their vaccinations with your veterinarian every 3-4 weeks until they are completed. Until that time your puppy IS NOT fully vaccinated‼️

Socialization is just as imperative as vaccinations. You can still safely socialize your new puppy while you continue getting their vaccinations.

What you can do:
1. Have only a few family/friends visit the puppy. Make everyone wash their hands, remove their shoes prior to entering the puppy’s space, and instruct them to not expose themselves to any stray/strange dogs prior to coming over.
2. Take them to visit a few friends and family but ONLY if you know that their dogs are UTD on their vaccinations‼️
3. Take them for short outings in a stroller.
4. Begin taking them for Car rides. The earlier you expose them the better they will do.
5. Buy a stroller and take them for walks!
6. Make it a family affair!! Expose them to as much as you safely can within your home. Everyday sounds, smells, and activities. Let the kids or grandparents join in by Playing games, and beginning training.

The Do Not’s:
1. Never let your puppy walk in an area where stray dogs have access to‼️
If you have a fenced in yard you can begin potty training to the outdoors. If you do not, and stray dogs can enter your yard continue using potty pads until vaccines are complete!
2. Do not ever set your under-vaccinated puppy down on public grounds‼️ This means the sidewalk, paved roads, a rest area, etc.
3. Do not take your puppy to the park unless in a stroller.
4. Do not take your puppy to the pet store unless you plan to carry them or in a stroller.
5. Absolutely NO public grassy areas‼️
6. Do NOT expose your new puppy to a lot of people until fully vaccinated.
Limit the visits initially‼️
**Moral of the story: NO PUBLIC GROUNDSPACE!!**

Unvaccinated Adult dogs can be asymptomatic carriers of Parvo. Just like humans with the Covid virus these unvaccinated Adult Dogs are infectious🦠. They do not appear to be sick, but they can spread Parvo through direct contact, and their 💩.
DO NOT ALLOW your puppy around any dog with unknown vaccination histories‼️ Politely ask if their dog(s) are UTD on vaccinations. If ever in doubt then don’t take the chance!

💁🏻‍♀️ Let’s Talk Parvo:🦠
Educational Post #1:
**”Let’s Talk Parvo Awareness/Precautions” will be in Post #2 following this Post #1.**

1. What is canine Parvovirus? Parvo is a highly contagious virus that is lethal in young under-vaccinated puppies, and elderly dogs‼️ The virus attacks the intestinal lining resulting in severe diarrhea, nausea/vomiting, hypothermia or hyperthermia, which all lead to pain. The virus shreds the lining of the intestinal wall which can produce bloody diarrhea. Dehydration is the main cause of death due to the loss of bodily fluids. The virus can attack the cardiac muscle in some forms (strains) of the virus.

2. Is there a cure for Canine Parvo?
No…there is no cure for parvo. Supportive veterinary care is the only treatment for a puppy with parvo. The replacement of fluids and controlling the vomiting and diarrhea of the puppy is the essential component of treatment. Parvo is considered a veterinary emergency 🚨

3. Transmission: Parvo is passed into the environment from the f***s from an infected animal. It remains infectious long after the f***s is gone. The virus can be spread through direct contact with an infected dog, or by coming into contact with objects or surfaces contaminated by the dog's f***s.
(EXAMPLE) You walk on ground that has been infected by the f***s of a dog. The 💩 is no longer visible, but the virus remains. You walk on the sidewalk, or inside your home 🏡…you have just accidentally tracked Parvo onto the sidewalks and inside your home. Your puppy chews on your shoe. You have just exposed your puppy to Parvovirus‼️🥺
Parvo can be easily transmitted via washed hands, clothes, shoes, blankets, toys 🧸, etc…basically anything‼️

4. How long can the virus 🦠 survive in the environment? Parvo can live and remain infectious in the soil and outdoors environment for over a year. It is not killed by the heat or freezing temps. It can remain infectious in the soil for over a year even in harsh climates.
Parvo can remain infectious on sidewalks, pavement, cement, wood decks, etc…again basically anything!
Parvo is thought to only remain infectious for 90 days inside your home.
🤔 Not sure I would trust on that to be accurate!

5. How to disinfect against Parvo.
The only thing that is proven to kill Parvo is a diluted Bleach solution, or a Parvocide cleaner like Striker, KennelSol, or Rescue. The cleaner solution must be mixed correctly with water 💦 and remain on the area or objects to be disinfected for Parvo for 10minutes.
**We religiously clean with KennelSol
Daily in the puppy area, and at least 2-3 times a week in the rest of the house.**

Billy and I have been very busy the past few days getting everything, and everyone ready to go home 🏡!!🙌🏻👏🏻
Today made Day 2 of puppy pickups for Stella 🎶 , MoonPie🌕, and Pandora’s 🪄✨ litters, and almost 1/2 of ALL The babies are now with their new families!😇

💁🏻‍♀️Let’s talk about follow-up vet appointments for vaccinations;💉
Your new puppy has received the following prior to going home 🏡:
1. A Neopar Parvo Only Vaccine given by me at 5-5 1/2 weeks old. 🦠
2. A Veterinary Wellness exam given by my vet at 7 1/2 weeks old at Fayette Veterinary Hospital located in Fayetteville, West Virginia.🏥
3. First set of combination Puppy Vaccines given by my vet at 7 1/2 weeks old during their wellness exam. 💉
4. All age appropriate dewormings: 💊
(a). Nemex 2 administered by me at 2
and 4 weeks old.
(b). Panacur administered by me at 6
and 7 1/2 weeks old.
(c). Bayer Quad Dewormer
administered by me at 6 and 7 1/2
weeks old.
**A dose of Panacur was given followed by a dose of Bayer Quad Dewormer the next day for each treatment given at weeks 6 and 7 1/2.**

Your puppy will need its next set of puppy vaccines 💉 in 3-4 weeks. The week of November 20th-27th. It’s incredibly important to keep their vaccinations on schedule and to finish the entire puppy vaccination series‼️YOUR PUPPY IS NOT FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST PARVO 🦠UNTIL THEY FINISH THE ENTIRE SERIES OF PUPPY VACCINES 💉‼️
**A copy of the Veterinary records 📝 was sent home with each puppy along with a Health Record 📑 of everything that I have done or given them. They are in the folder in their go home bags❗️
Give both to your veterinarian at their appointment so they will know everything that has been given and done!✅

It’s also incredibly important to socialize your new puppy. Refer to the literature 📖 in your puppy folder for “How to safely Socialize your new puppy until fully vaccinated”. I will make a separate post going over Parvo Precautions and the the do’s and don’ts. You can refer to the literature 📄 I typed up that’s in your puppy folder about “Parvo Awareness/Precautions” for that information too!☺️

Let me take a moment to introduce the two people behind Loop Creek Dachshund’s. I am the voice behind the phone calls/meesages, emails, and the brain 🧠 behind the breeding program! Billy is the kind face that everyone meets! Sometimes you’re lucky and get to meet us both at pickup, but everyone meets Billy! Loop Creek is my dream but he is my support system, taxi, and flight ✈️ nanny! Together we are the Mitchell’s (Bill Mitchell and Robin Mitchell😊)!! I believe We make one awesome 😎 team, and caregivers for these amazing dogs of mine and their nuggets! 👏🏻 😇

Announcement 📣 PLEASE READ SINCE THIS CONTINUES TO COME UP!!Educational Post: Puppy Visitation/Home Visits:
💁🏻‍♀️To whom it may concern:

We do not allow home visits or anyone to see or handle the puppies prior to going home. We have developed our policies with the safety and welfare of our family, dogs, and especially our unvaccinated-litters!!!

It is way too dangerous to give just anyone our address, and allow them to see the pups prior to placing a deposit. We are not a kennel!! Our dogs and babies are raised and ALL live inside our family’s home.
I do not know you…You do not know me!
Breeders have been assaulted, and their dogs and litters stolen by people supposedly “wanting to see the puppies before placing a deposit to reserve”. I will never intentionally place my family or dogs in harms-way!!

Parvo is a highly contagious virus that can be lethal in young puppies and elderly dogs. It can be transmitted via hands, clothes, shoes, car tires, dog toys, blankets, etc…basically anything!! We have developed our policies alongside our veterinary team to ensure we make the best decisions possible for the safety of ALL our dogs, and under-vaccinated and/or unvaccinated pups.

1. There will be no 🚫home visits!🙅🏻‍♀️
2. No one will get to enter our home in order to pick out a puppy from the litter! 🚷
3. I will not meet you with 1 or more puppies so you can choose in person.🙅🏻‍♀️
4. There will be zero 🚫visitation with the puppy you reserved.🙅🏻‍♀️
5. I will not give out my address ahead of time. 🆘

If we were to allow every looki-loo access to our home, and pups we would literally be Begging for a Parvo outbreak!! I will never risk Parvo being accidentally tracked inside my home and exposing unvaccinated, and/or undervaccinated litters to this horrific virus; it would have devastating consequences.

Please, understand I will never compromise on this policy!!! I DO NOT need to sell these babies that badly to where I would literally place them in harms way, and at risk for parvo. If this is a dealbreaker for you I completely understand and I wish you luck on your puppy search. I will NOT be the breeder for you!

We strive to provide the best care possible for our puppies to ensure that they are safe, happy, and healthy!

🚨 I will NOT be available for the next few days. An elderly family member is having Surgery this morning . ❤️‍🩹
Due to location there is NO Cell Phone Servicei📲 and they DO NOT have WiFi.🥸 I will have zero ways to check my messages.
I will make sure to check my messages whenever I make a trip into town and/or run home 🚙💨. I will check them Friday before puppy pickups 🐶 to ensure everyone is still on schedule😎

Today was MoonPie’s 🌕 babies turn for the big adventure to the doctor!
They all received an A++ on their health report card! Dr Faulkner said they were absolutely adorable, and ready to fly ✈️ the coupe this weekend!🙌🏻👏🏻

Thank you Fayette Veterinary Hospital for everything you do for us!! I am blessed to have the absolute very best veterinary team behind me!!
I couldn’t do what I do without them.
They are as much a part of Loop Creek as I am.

UPDATE…
Molly and Bowie will be staying together! They begin their big new adventure on Sunday ⛅️, and will travel to Delaware.👩🏻‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏼
They will have 2 senior dachshunds at home to teach them and keep them in line🤣🏡💕
Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that my nuggets travel easily, and don’t suffer from any carsickness 🚙 💨 🙏🏻

Maybelline💄will be North Carolina bound, but Mars🪐will remain a Mountaineer (💙💛), and fairly local!!🙏🏻
