"We are still missing our sweet Mimi. She went missing on Saturday 5/21 in the Wolf Creek neighborhood in Bondurant. She is chipped. She is friendly and her most distinct feature is her blue eyes. Her eyes shake a little when she focuses on something. We miss her so much!"

Sunny (full name Sunflower Cinnabon Peterson) went the the groomers for the first time yesterday! She got a Lion cut for a fresh start for summer. Here is how she was cuddling with Troy this morning to keep warm 🥰

Sunny is coming out of her shell. She is a sweetie. She nipped me today and I’m convinced she doesn’t know that hurts humans, so I think it will be easy to break the habit.

Update on Sunny. We have left the door open to her room for the last few days. She now moves between her room and our room. She stays under the bed in our room, but Mimi and Lila no longer avoid the room she is in. I haven’t see them interact with her, but there doesn’t seem to be any problems so far!

Update on our newest member, Sunny. I was going to try for a picture, but she wasn’t in a great location for me this afternoon. She is still in a hiding place of some kind when we go in to visit her, but she now welcomes our pets and treats and makes eye contact without getting nervous. We did find out that she has the same disdain for being petted in the rump as Lila does, so now we know she will bite if properly provoked. Truman took the bullet on that one!

I made Lila a nest, so now I can’t make my bed. She sleeps about 20 hours a day, but it still makes me so happy to see her peaceful.
