As the Missouri Foxtrotter gained popularity so did the demand for high quality tack that actually fits, along with a desire to be able to talk to a knowledgeable person on the other end of a phone line when placing orders for gaited or event specific tack and supplies. Disappointed with the variety of gaited products that were available, and in the lack of knowledge about gaited horses when deali
ng with other suppliers, whose items did not fit to start with, Bud & Tori started Foxtrot USA Tack & Supply in 2002. In 2007 Tori turned in her Amateur Card and Blankenship Stables opened their doors for training, lessons and clinics. They have produced 18 World Champions, 4 Reserve World Champions and 49 National and World Top 10 horses within the MFTHBA. Some of those horses went on to win the highest honor and claimed the Amateur World Grand Champion Versatility Horse, Youth National Grand Champion Versatility Horse and the Open World Grand Champion Versatility Horse. Within the FOSH organization Blankenship Stables produced the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Horse Of The Year. The 2010 Horse Of The Year, The Kansas Kowboy D. holds the amazing highpoint record of earning over 1000 National points. A record that will stand for a very long time. In 2011 and 2012 Bud & Tori took part in the new Nationally televised series, America's Favorite Trail Horse. National auditions were held for 1000 horses. Their stallion, Absolut Sunrise, was chosen as one of the 100 finalists to compete in Texas for this new series. Absolut Sunrise won his episode and went on to compete in the final show. By America's vote, their stallion now shares the honor of being named one of the Top 10 Trail Horses in America! "There is nothing that cannot be accomplished with vision, trust, respect and by being true to yourself and to others. Follow your dreams with a passion and explore all possibilities without limitations!"
