While there is still much work to be done, I am pleased to report that Lucy, my personal horse, is making progress. She has been dealing with several issues, including being a hard keeper with Cushings, having some dental problems, founder - thin soles, weak digital cushion, P3 remodeling...
However, by ensuring she receives a balanced diet, comfortable living conditions, movement and hoof care, we have been able to manage her condition. We initially used Cloud boots but later switched to glue-on shoes, which she seems to find more comfortable. So far, she appears to be happy and free of pain.

It’s not perfect, there’s still thrush and other issues, and it will take some time before I’m truly satisfied. But we can slowly extend the intervals between trimming now. I don’t have photos after the trims (as I kept forgetting), so both are from before trim.
