WHAT DOES SAFE PLAY IN THIS SUMMER HEAT LOOK LIKE?
—> shaded areas 😎🌳
—> water available at all times 💧
—> avoid hot surfaces, stick to grass on walks🐕
—> scheduling your walks early in the AM or later in PM

❗️What to look for when you think your pet is overheating:🥵
•excessive panting
•barking, whining or other signs of agitation
•excessive thirst or signs of dehydration
•excessive drooling
•lethargy, vomiting, and unsteadiness

❗️What to do if you notice your pet is overheated:
** use room temperature/cool water on the underbelly and chest area until temperature returns to normal**
🤒Normal temperature for dogs and cats : 101-102.5
🥶Do not use freezing cold water! It can cause shock!
