I've watched Lulu and Mavis a couple times now, and Lulu went to movie night at Shrikant and Chinmay's. Mavis is actually asking for attention and that is new and wonderful!

Another new client! Meet Mulligan! He's my dear friend Stephanie's client, but she was already booked, so I got to stay with him. We had a pretty good time, and Joel helped go for a walk and play frisbee. He's a scamp, and such a sweet boy!

More New Friends!

Bonita and Dori! Dori is an older gal and very sweet. Bonita is a corgi mix and still a baby! I've been letting her out at lunch once a week on days when her hair stylist mom has a long day. She is extremely soft, loves chewing sticks, and I still have to remind her to go p*e.

New Friends! Tucker, Oscar, and Jasper. These guys are a little more complicated than our average clients.

Tucker has seizures and requires medication 3 times a day, with a couple rescue medications if the seizures don't stop after about a minute. I don't think he had one while I was there, his medication regime has been working pretty well.

Jasper was adopted as an older dog and likely has some abuse in his past. He can get bitey and I had pretty strict instructions on how to interact with him so neither of us got hurt. I'm very pleased to say that went well. He actually was a sweet baby, and liked for me to hold his face and talk about his eyebrows! AND HIS EYELASHES!!! So handsome.

Oscar is getting to be an old man, and all he really wants is to snooze on his comfy couch. Such a good boy.

This is Mackie! She's an older lady, and she's so good! Absolute sweetheart, she only goes outside for a bathroom break, takes like two steps off the patio and then immediately wants back in. She even has a little bell she rings when she wants out. She's so gentle and sweet!

Chipping your pets is the best way to get them back if they end up lost. Here is an option for getting them chipped from the Humane Society!

The Lawrence Humane Society is offering assistance for pet owners for whom vaccinating and microchipping their pets may be cost-prohibitive. Our next monthly vaccine and microchip clinic is this Wednesday, July 21st, from 4 to 7 pm. This clinic will be limited to 40 animals and is by application only.

I GOT TO STAY WITH PUPPIES!!!!

George and Elvis are the little puppies, they're 4 months old, they're adorable, 90% teef, and are either in constant motion or deeply asleep.

Koda and Solei are the big dogs and very patient with the pups.

I also got to feed the fish in the pond, but my phone was charging.

A fan favorite!!! Kyle and Lily!! With Jennifer Tucker

I spent a wonderful week with Kyle and Lily while their parents were on a belated honeymoon in Hawaii! Join my in sending them congratulations!

Kyle was invited to Movie Night with our dear friends Chinmay and Shrikant, and we had a lovely time, the next day Kyle kept jumping for the leash spot, like, "Let's go to movie night again!" He had the best time.

And I got some very rare Lily lap time and I was absolutely late for work, worth it.
