We LOVE hearing happily ever after stories! Here's a sweet update from one of our recent adopters: Comet and Lills are doing so good! Comet weighs 6 pounds and Lills 3 pounds. Comet is not afraid of anything. He likes to try and play with my Sheltie. Lills is coming into her own. She doesn’t wait for Comet before she tries something new. Both are super loved. Please thank their fosters for taking good care of them and loving them. They are wonderful addition to my family. Thank you.

🌟 Meet Wonderous Willow! 🌟

Willow is a 10-month-old bundle of joy and curiosity! 🐾 This magnificent mutt is fantastic with dogs of all sizes and loves to play. Willow is a little shy at first with new people, but once she warms up, she enjoys being around her humans. 🐶
She’s still getting the hang of indoor living, but she’s doing great with her potty training! 🌟 As for cats, we’re not sure yet, but we’ll keep you posted. 😸

BIG thanks to Stafford Animal Shelter in Livingston and Greater Good Good Charities for the recent 500 pound haul of dog food. It will be used for our food-bank program that provides free pet food to area food banks. Stafford and Greater Good gave us a full pallet of food, which we shared with the Yellowstone Wildlife Sanctuary. A win-win for everyone!

It's that time of year when dogs and cats like to wander! If your pet goes missing, call the Carbon County Sheriff’s office at 406-446-1234 to file a report. Then, as soon as possible, post a photo and your contact information on social media with your pet’s last known location. Also, contact BHA. We’ll contact you if a pet matching your description is found and reported to us. Oh, and one more thing: Please be sure your pets – both dogs and cats – have your up-to-date contact information on them at all times. Microchipping, which is offered at your veterinarian’s clinic, is also a good idea.

BEHOLD SMALL BUT MIGHTY MAVRICK! 🐾❤️:

Meet Mavrick, the lovable six-year-old pup with a sassy streak! This little furry heartthrob has eyes that seem to read your soul, locking onto yours as if he’s deciphering your deepest secrets. He’s got a few adorable tricks up his sleeve and will gladly show them off—for the right snack, of course!
Mav is always up for a leashed adventure and would thrive in a home with a fenced-in backyard where he can play ball and keep watch over the neighborhood like a tiny, four-legged guardian. He’s got a bark that means business but responds well to a vibrating collar when he gets a little too chatty.
While Mavrick adores his people, he needs a home where kids understand boundaries—especially when food is involved (he’s not mean, just a bit nippy). He’s fully housetrained, though he’s not a fan of chilly weather and may need a little extra encouragement to brave the cold. With a proper introduction, he gets along well with other dogs, but his thoughts on cats remain a mystery.
One thing’s for sure—Mavrick has a special place in his heart for women and is ready to form a loyal, loving bond with his forever family. Could that be you?
