Cherry is almost healed up from her emergency c-section due to complications from labor. She will now just be a pet.

Micro Dot has decided babies aren’t for her and she would prefer her sister Jade or “twin” Cherry to deal with reproducing instead.

Micro Dot decided she didn’t want to raise a litter so I’ve decided to breed Cherry next. She’s a satin coat rust girl who is quite large at around 250g. If all goes well there will be a litter looking for new families mid to late January.

Cucumber? Naaah. Kids cereal? Yes please! Micro Dot is a weirdo and will only take vegetables if I put them in her cage. Hopefully she doesn’t pass that on when she has babies!

My keeper from Bucha’s litter needs a name. She’s a chocolate tortoiseshell banded longhair rex girl. My 2 front runners are Caramilk or Toffifee. Anyone got any suggestions or votes for either of those? I’ve already had Truffle, Brownie, Choco and Light Choco.

One of Dot’s girls is also still available. She is a golden tortoiseshell rex shorthair. She’s fairly outgoing and not at all satisfied with the size of bin she’s currently in so a large setup is a must for her.

One of Dot’s boys is still available. He is a pretty calm quiet guy who comes out to run in his wheel late in the evening. He’s pretty laid back about handling and being picked up. He is a golden rex shorthair.

Dot’s babies are 3 weeks old today. I’ll be taking individual pictures of them and Bucha’s babies over the weekend.

A couple of Dot’s babies tonight. You can see the wavy coat of the rex one in front. They are 2.5 weeks old and have just started coming out of the nest and exploring.
