Dragon Crest Dog Training offers classes in obedience,and tracking. Classes range from beginning to advanced levels, to show prep. Group classes are kept small, only 5 dogs per class, so you get the individual attention you want and deserve. Private classes can be scheduled at your convenience and you have the trainers undivided attention. Dragon Crest also offers in kennel training and some board

ing. All classes are geared towards having fun while learning with your dog. The trainer, Donna Miceli, has over twenty years of experience training companion dogs. Donna has trained and shown many dogs to titles in both AKC obedience and Schutzhund.

Please be on the look out for two dogs in the powell area off 31 and cr se 0080 and 0090. One dog is yellow-ish blonde medium size .. very thin due to an illness. The second dog is medium short hair gray in color. Both dogs wearing bright multi- colored collars without tags. The owner's number 972 979-1210. Pictures coming.

Today AJ and I took Rex and Kit to the Lone Star Dog Obedience Club's Obedience and Rally trial In Bonham TX.
Kit was her airheaded self, though she showed more focus that in the past she found a new trick. Everything she would return focus to me she would bump her nose into the palm of my hand. Each bump was 2 points. Then on the about U turn she got squirrelly. I thought she had fixed herself, but nope she turned wrong. This gave us an 82 which is a respectable qualifying score.

Rex was his level heading, thinking self. Even though he had never been around that many dogs, it did not phase him. He looked around at everything for a few minutes, then he took it as normal and relaxed.
In the class AJ was calm and helped him where he needed it. Rex did not look at being in the class as much different than working anywhere else.
AJ and Rex got a 98 and won their class!
