The 𝙍𝙚𝙙-𝙑𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝘾𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙤 🕊️, also known as the 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙤 and locally 𝙆𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙖, 𝘼𝙗𝙪𝙠𝙖𝙮, 𝘼𝙜𝙖𝙮 𝙤𝙧 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙖𝙮, is a species of 𝘾𝙤𝙘𝙠𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙤. It is endemic to the Philippines. 🌴 Wildlife Jury TRIVIA #5‼️

“𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗼 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘄𝘀 ❟ 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗴𝗼!” – FEU Tamaraws chant

₊˚ʚ 🌱 ₊˚✧ The 𝙈𝙞𝙣𝙙𝙤𝙧𝙤 𝘿𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙛 𝘽𝙪𝙛𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙤 or more known as the '𝘛𝘢𝘮𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘸' is a small, stocky, grayish-black in color buffalo. Presently, tamaraw are nocturnal in nature, although this is likely the result of human disturbances in their habitat. The biggest threat to tamaraw is habitat loss due to infrastructure development, logging, and agriculture. 🐃

── .✦ This animal is also the symbol for the Far Eastern University, because of the founder's admiration of its strength and intelligence. It may be small but it is nevertheless tough, ready to go to battle to protect its territory, even against bigger rivals. 🔰

ᜑ A Red-vented cockatoo also known as '𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘢𝘺' has a scientific name "𝗖𝗮𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗮 𝗛𝗮𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝘆𝗴𝗶𝗮" which derives from Greek words meaning "𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱" and "𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗽," alluding to the 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙘𝙤𝙡𝙤𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 on the vent area that sets this cockatoo apart from other Cacatua species. 𓂃 ࣪˖

Located on the islands of Palawan, Tawi-Tawi, Mindanao, and Masbate, known to be a 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘢 𝘳𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭, and are critically endangered by the IUCN (International Union for Conservation of Nature) due to habitat loss and fragmentation being major threats to their survival. 🪽

⩩ The Visayan spotted deer (Rusa Alfredi), also known as Prince Alfred's deer, is commonly scattered in the rainforests of the Visayan Islands of Panay and Negros. This nocturnal deer, distinguished by its pattern of beige spots that dot its deep brown back and sides, is threatened to decrease its population because of habitat destruction, like deforestation and hunting. 🦌

༄ Paddle endlessly over the ocean for the sight of the Irrawaddy dolphins. Yet, are you interested in learning more about Irrawaddy dolphins? 🐬
We know some of the dolphins but there’s a dolphin named “𝑰𝒓𝒓𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒅𝒅𝒚 𝒅𝒐𝒍𝒑𝒉𝒊𝒏” who are now endangered because of the people destroying their environment. ࿐ ࿔*:･ﾟ

⤷ Irrawaddy dolphins are characterful and have unusually expressive faces. They can spit spouts of water from their mouths into the air. They seem to do this unusual behavior when socializing and fishing. (•ˋ _ ˊ•)

⌗ Do you love whale sharks? 🐋 Of course, we love whale sharks, who on earth would be able to resist its big smile right? unless you’re willing to become one of their snacks. Kidding aside, here are some trivia about them.
Do you know that a whale shark has a scientific name? Yes, it has and it is named 𝗥𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝘂𝘀, a solo member of the genus Rhincodon and the only extant member of the family Rhincodontidae which belongs to the subclass Elamobranchii in the class Chondrichthyes, Before 1984 it was classified as Rhiniodon into Rhinodontidae. ┊. ˚. 𝑻he severe degradation of habitat is the biggest threat to many species. Conserving the unique habitats that endangered animas call home is the greatest approach to save them. There must be places for wildlife to eat, sleep, and rear their young. Habitat degradation can be attributed to logging oil, gas drilling, overgrazing, and development it. It is important to conserve the habitat of endangered animals and reduce any negative effects.

𝑾𝒆, humans, might find these creatures “𝒄𝒖𝒕𝒆” and “𝒂𝒅𝒐𝒓𝒂𝒃𝒍𝒆”, but we might not know that we're causing more harm to these animals. We, the 𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞 𝐉𝐮𝐫𝐲 would like you to remember that these tiny cute creature lacks the capability to handle human interaction and can be stressed easily by their environment causing them to keep hitting their heads on the tree till they die tragically.
