Tomorrow is Pet Appreciation Day at the Thorold Pet Valu! 🎉🐾

Join us as we raise money for the Animal Assistance Society and Niagara Falls Community Cats. Both organizations are currently overrun with kittens and special needs adult cats and need our support to help their spay and neuter programs.

Here’s what we have planned:

🐾 **Fur Real Grooming** will be doing $15 nail trims with all proceeds going to the charities.
📸 **Beth Catharine Photography** will be offering $10 mini “fun in the sun” sessions with your pets. Dress up your fur babies with sunglasses and Hawaiian Leis to kick off the summer! All proceeds from the photos will be donated.
🚐 **Fort Erie SPCA** will bring their mobile adoption van with several adoptable dogs and small animals. Looking for a new furry friend? Come and meet them tomorrow!

Don't forget, this is the last weekend to enter our HUGE raffle with amazing prizes including:
🎸 A $400 Jay Turner guitar (donated by Mike's Music in Thorold)
🐾 A $200 cat tower
🛏️ A $200 dog bed loaded with food and treats
🎟️ Plus, our Penny Sale with many prizes for dogs, cats, outdoor bird enthusiasts, and fantastic $50 gift cards to Walmart, Amazon, Indigo, and more!

🐾🏠 Help Tyson Find His Forever Home! 🏠🐾

🌟 Meet Tyson, a 6-year-old male black cat who's been on a journey of resilience. Despite a rough start living on the streets, Tyson's heart is full of love and affection. He's a sweetheart who adores belly rubs and head boops.

💔 Tyson has spent over a year at the Welland SPCA and since February, he's been with us at Pet Valu Thorold. But he's still waiting for that special someone to give him the loving home he deserves.

👀 Tyson may have an old injury to his eye, but it doesn't dim his spirit. Medically, he's in perfect health and ready to bring joy to his forever family.

Meet Jinx and Tyson, two precious souls longing for a place to call home.Jinx, our 3-year-old Calico Sweetheart, may have a heart murmur, but her spirit is as strong as ever. Despite her initial shyness, once you earn her trust, she's a playful bundle of joy ready to shower you with love and affection. With proper care and attention, she's poised to live a wonderful, fulfilling life.

Then there's Tyson, our 6-year-old Black Cat, who is an absolute delight to be around. Affectionate and loving, he adores every moment of cuddles, belly rubs, and head boops. Though he bears the scars of his past, including a cloudy eye from an old injury, his resilience shines through, and he's medically sound and ready to bring endless joy to a new family.These two beautiful souls, who've shared space and companionship at the Welland SPCA, are now looking for their forever home, individually or together.
They're waiting patiently at the Pet Valu in Thorold, eager to meet their future family.

Our five male rats, who are 1 year old, have been patiently waiting at our store for almost 6 months now. They are eager learners and can even be taught to respond to their names! 🏃‍♂️ Rats are incredibly social animals. They love interacting with humans and other rats, making them the perfect companions for both individuals and families. 🧹 Contrary to popular belief, rats are very clean animals. They groom themselves regularly, just like cats! Rats make exceptional pets and have so much love to offer. They are incredibly affectionate, loyal, and bond deeply with their human caretakers.
