Molly was missing for 3 weeks and the owner filed a report to our agent here on Facebook, we promised to find Molly and we did that in less than a week.

It was Maverick & Goose’s longest search yet, but in the end, Shadow & Harley are home safely !! Last night, in the early evening hours we were contacted by a concerned family, about their 2 missing black labs, 5 year old Shadow & 12 year old Harley… They had been missing since the day before at approximately 6:30 pm and now missing for over 24 hrs… we made arrangements to make the roughly 35 minute drive out to the Town of Ellenburg to assist with the search… we arrived on scene at 7:00 pm, and when we arrived we were advised that Shadow had just been found minutes before our arrival, in woods near a log landing almost 2 miles from home… And we were told that Harley was still missing, but a neighbor had reported seeing a black lab in the woods not too far southeast of the residence about 30 minutes ago… Wasting no time, we launched our drones into the sky to begin searching the area of the recent sighting… we searched that surrounding area for well over an hour, and then we made the decision to move our launching location, just over a mile away, to a nearby road, to search closer to the area where Shadow was found by the log landing… we searched that area for another few hours, but was unable to spot Harley… We made another just over 1 mile shift in our setup location, to search right in and around the exact location of where Shadow was found near the log landing… After another hour plus of searching, our drones batteries were running low, and I had we 1 pair remaining… Now, at approximately 12:40 am, while searching the southeast corner of a field clearing, we observed a lone heat signature that got my attention… After lowering in altitude, turning on the spotlight and switching to my zoom camera, we were able to instantly confirm it was in fact Harley, bedded down in the field clearing along a two track trail traversing through it… The owner and I high fived, were super excited, but we knew we still had to make the rescue… we landed our drones and we made arrangements to once again make a shift in setup locations a little closer to where Harley was bedded… During that shift, the owners retrieved their UTV to make getting somewhat close to Harley easier… Now, with our drones batteries and my 2 large battery banks dead, it was time to deploy his trusty sidekick Goose… we hand launched Goose and qu**ky reconfirmed Harley’s location bedded in the field and hovered over her… we then called the owner and he was already in place waiting and began navigating towards Harley using Goose as a visual beacon… As he approached close to Harley, we were able to see them both on thermal and as gentle calls were being made to her, we could see Harley stand up, and slowly begin going towards him… we switched to the zoom camera and spotlight, and could see Harley’s tail wagging only a few feet from dad… A few seconds later and Harley was safely secured in the field and they began making their way back towards mom and the UTV… we landed Goose and awaited their arrival… A few moments later and the very relieved owners and a tired Harley girl met up with me and we all celebrated the successful ending to the search and snapped a few pictures… It was now 1:40 am, and after a long 6+ hour search & rescue, Harley was safe and headed back home to her family and we are sure to be welcomed back happily by Shadow… The white dot on the map is roughly where the dogs went missing, the red dots is where the other setup locations were utilized and the pink perimeter is the terrain Maverick & Goose covered during this search & rescue mission… we really can’t tell you just how great it felt to help reuinte this family with their lost dog 🚁📸🌳🐶🏡❤️‍🩹

This was 1 of our best locating accomplishments yet… Poor Bella was very difficult to find, as the Eagle Bay area of th Southern Adirondacks is literally nothing but dense forest land as far as the eye can see 🚁📸🌳🐶❤️‍🩹

On a recent missing cattle search we located a suspicious looking heat signature high up in some thick tree canopy… A quick snap over to Maverick’s impressive color zoom camera revealed it was a family of raccoons resting and huddled close together 🚁📸🌳🦝🦝🦝

🎉Belle the Beagle is home safe🎉

Today we received a call from a concerned family in the remote, big woods town of Standish, Ny, about their 2 year old Beagle Belle, who had been missing for 2 days… We arrived on scene at about 7:20 pm and literally 5 minutes after takeoff and an initial few passes around the woods across the road, little Belle came walking back into the yard and back home… Anytime we can have this kind of quick result on a search we will take it… I am very happy that Belle is back home safely where she belongs and so is her family 🚁📸🌳🐶🐾❤️‍🩹

Up for late night rescues
After a short search for Debbie we found her on another property a bit scared and wouldn’t want anyone close to her thanks to our recovery team and their professions we got her before her owners showed up 🐾🐕

🎉COWS FOUND 🌳🐮🐮🎉

Last night at about 6:30 pm we were contacted by a concerned farming family, who were looking for assistance in locating 2 missing cows, who had been on the loose for 10 days without being seen… our team made the short drive out to the Town of Bangor to assist in finding them with the thermal imaging drone… After about 45 minutes of searching, Maverick located the cows, together, just under 1 mile from the farm where they escaped… The cows were close to a nearby Amish farm, and with their assistance the cows were corralled inside a pasture fence at that farm as complete darkness had fallen… The farm family is going to make arrangements to try to return the cows back to the home farm today as they had traveled a bit further than they expected… The red dot indicates the area the cows were missing from and the pink dot indicates where the cows were located by Maverick 🚁📸🌳🐮🐮❤️‍🩹
