I miss Margo girl so much, extra hard tonight. It’s so cold, it’s almost been two weeks, my thoughts scare me. Am I ever going to see my girl again 😭

Hello everyone! Update 5/19/24
No Sightings
My family and I headed out to our camping spot on Thursday. We stayed through Sunday. We were even lucky enough to wake up to a blizzard today.
We hiked every single day; covered approximately 13 miles. We left scent tracks with clothing items and liquid smoke. We followed the water for miles looking for any sign. We have not fully completed the wagon wheel yet.
We also took our dogs with hopes they picked some scent up, which they did
But nothing that ever lead to anything. Each day I hoped we would wake up to her, but no. We saw some dog p**p but obviously can’t be determine what dog it came from. There were lots of places you could see an animal would bed down or find shelter, but there are also tons of moose & elk. We did do a game camera but that did not catch anything significant. We left items at camp again in case she comes back and will be heading up daily to check.
I wish so badly I had her collar on. It just drives her insane and I never in a million years thought this would happen. Today, is day 8. I’m more terrified now than I was a week ago.
There are so many scenarios. I do not want to give up.
If someone has my dog, please let her come home 😭💔

Krista Callaghan it’s a lot of work, and takes a lot time to find a lost dog. Please follow the advice below to help in finding her. If you can find her den area, we can set a live trap. (I have one).
Dogs will normally stay in the general area they went missing, and circle back. They will find a “den” area that provides shelter, protection, and safety. They generally stay put during the day, and move around in the early morning hours, evening hours, and nighttime hours. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Return to place last seen. Camp site. Set up home away from home. Tent, dog’s bed, toys, food, water, owners dirty clothes, dirty bedding, missing dog poster, and owners own urine, spread in area with spray bottle, one sq**rt every six-feet around the area, leading back to site.
Delmo road is now closed and the road can only be accessed by the pipestone way. - a wonderful woman went hiking up there today and let me know. No sightings yet. We were camping between mile marker 6-7 on Delmo lake rd, between Butte and Whitehall. Tonight is night 5. My poor girl, I pray she is staying strong.
I haven’t lost hope but I’m getting more and more nervous each day that goes by.
No sightings today 😞 but I sure appreciate everyone that is out there looking for her.
There has been no site or sound of Margo. We’ve asked every camper we see, the fish & game are also telling people in the area. No one has seen her 😭
We did see some wildlife so that makes us hopeful that scary predators aren’t abundant. That made me feel a little better.
We cooked bacon tonight and stayed a few hours. No sign of her so hopefully she smells the bacon. Come home Margo!
Yelling for her can actually scare her away, I just learned this today.
I am so worried for Margo. 3 nights in the woods alone is killing me and her. Please, please, please baby girl come home 💔❤️🩹

🐶 Margo UPDATE
5/13/24 @ 11pm
We headed up to Delmo Road between Mile Marker 6 & 7 around 5pm. We went to where we camped at and set up a tent with blankets and other personal items. We left food and water. We stayed at the sight for about 3 hours, roasted lots of hot dogs, walked around, yelled, and had a fire. She never came out. We drove in the Delmo area and came out the pipestone area. We hung signs in random places in hopes people see them. We also left road by the road near our camp site.
This is night 3 for Margo. There was no sightings today. We did see a mountain lion on our way out which scared the hell out of me. Margo is not a fighter when it comes up against an aggressor, I don’t even know what she could be eating.
On our way up we ran into the kindest woman and she had been up there since 2pm leaving food and yelling for Margo, but no sight or sound.
There is another gal that is staying near the lake in case Margo comes down that way. There are amazing people in the world 🫶
Hoping tomorrow we will find Margo Bean ❤️

This is going to be Margo’s second night in the woods, all alone, me so stressed and upset. Please if anyone sees my precious girl let me know!

My dog Margo took off on Saturday May 11 around 6pm in the Delmo/pipestone area between mile marker 6-7. She still has not been found. Please share this post to help us find our baby, we are very worried.
