At three years old, Twyla is smart, affectionate, and amuses her foster family with her exuberance and antics. She prefers a cat-free home and thoughtful dog introductions, but her love for people is immediate and sincere.

Looking for a co-pilot who makes everything more fun? Meet Ash, an adorable little dog who lives for car rides, shopping trips, walks, and tagging along wherever you go. He stands politely, observes thoughtfully, and treats everyday errands like premium bonding experiences.

Ash doesn't need much—just a leash, a seat in the car, and literally any reason to come along. If your passenger seat is empty, Ash would like to discuss that. Apply today and our team will contact yours.

Thanks to Club Pilates, Peppertree dogs are surrounded by generosity and enjoying next-level comfort. Their impressive December donation drive rolled in with an abundance of brand-new beds, cozy fleece blankets, and boxes upon boxes of wonderful toys and treats.

We're so very grateful to Club Pilates staff and clients for showing up in such a big way! This is community support at its best, making a real difference for our dogs that will last for months to come.

Meet Codi, a mellow 10-year-old beagle who brings calm energy wherever he goes. He loves attention and enjoys leisurely sniff walks, followed by a snack and a solid nap.

Codi does well with children and other dogs and is likely fine with cats. He's house trained and crate trained, though he doesn't need one, and is generally unfazed by life. Codi is ideal for anyone looking for a gentle, affectionate dog who fits easily into everyday routines.

Senior dogs have so much to offer, and Codi is proof of that. Come meet him tomorrow at our adoption clinic at Benson's Pet Center in Clifton Park. Interested adopters should submit an application.

Peppertree is looking for more foster homes. Without them, we simply can't save dogs. We don't have a shelter; we have couches, kitchens, and people with big hearts.

Our foster homes are how dogs go from "scared" to "settled" to "ready for their forever home." We pay for food, veterinary care, and necessary grooming (all of the boring adult stuff). You get to do the fun part: give them lots of love, a soft place to land, and a second chance to shine.

Happy first birthday to Eli, a Peppertree alum and Christmas Eve pup. We love the hat and bandana!

Eli, formerly known as Marlin, came to Peppertree from the Saratoga County cruelty case earlier this year and rewrote his whole story—rescued, adopted, and adored. He's a puppy class graduate, scent work enthusiast, and full-time good boy.

We're happy to celebrate this milestone with you, Eli, and your wonderful family. Enjoy your next lap around the sun.

Thinking about more activity in the new year? So is Cisco. This one-year-old poodle mix is very committed to the idea.

Cisco is house trained and crate trained, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is fine solo too. He finds cats a bit too interesting and would do best with older kids who enjoy an active dog. Cisco also rides nicely in the car, though he's not really sure what all the hype is about.

This enthusiastic pup is looking for an active family who enjoys regular exercise and helping a young dog grow into his best self. He's interviewing now, so apply if you'd like to kick off the new year with a fun addition to your family.
