Doby is a gentle soul looking for a loving home where he can thrive with another dog by his side. This sweet boy is not a big barker, making him perfect for a quiet environment. He would do best in a home with older children, and is perfect for a retired individual/family who can be home a lot for their boy. He loves to explore the great outdoors!

Join us this Saturday from 10:30-noon for an adoption clinic at Benson's Pet Center in Clifton Park. Ten adorable dogs will be waiting to meet you, and maybe one of them will be your new best friend.

Introducing Elvira, a super friendly Shepherd mix who's in the prime of her life. She's a medium-energy dog and would be a great fit for a socially active family or a single person who wants a smart, cuddly and confident companion. She was a favorite at her South Carolina shelter and is so good natured that she helped them evaluate other dogs.

Let's start off your Thursday with two playful Golden Retrievers, Carly Ann and Scarlet Rose. This bonded pair just arrived at Peppertree after their owner passed away. Both three-year-old girls are fun, housebroken and love other dogs.

Carly Ann and Scarlet Rose enjoy a good romp in the yard and curling up on the couch with their people. They're incredibly close and are eager to bring joy, laughter and love to their new forever home. Who wants to snuggle with Milly and her cozy heated blanket on a chilly Sunday morning? She's happy to share kisses and her snacks too!

Milly gets along famously with the two dogs and three cats in her foster home and loves people too. She's a little shy at first but is all love and affection once she gets to know you. She loves to be carried around and is working on her housebreaking and leash walking skills.

Introducing Mamie, a little cuddle bug who always greets her foster mom with a wagging tail. She's quite the leaner too! This middle-aged girl enjoys squeaky toys, playing fetch and is getting the hang of leash walking. She has no problem with stairs or car rides and would love to have a yard or trips to the park to get her zoomies out.

Mamie is a gentle, loving girl who lives with a fellow pup and two kitties in her foster home. She can be a little shy in new environments but continues to grow in confidence. Mamie will make a wonderful addition to some lucky family.

Happy Valentine's Day from Alicia, a Peppertree alum whose mom sent us this update.

"Alicia may not have had the best start in life, but her last 18 months with me have been filled with love, walks, toys and snuggles. When I get home from work, she greets me at the door with a proper hug, jumping up and wrapping her front legs around me. And she's an occasional sock thief who enjoys chasing bunnies and squirrels and hogging my bed while snoring. Thank you, Peppertree, for rescuing this lucky girl who always makes me laugh."

We love updates like this and couldn’t be happier for Alicia and her mom.
